The fur started flying in a Bronx Courthouse when a teenager charged with baking her ex-girlfriend's cat in an oven taunted animal rights activists minutes after she pleaded guilty to animal cruelty.
"It's dead, b----," said Cheyenne Cherry, 17 as she stuck out her tongue at the half a dozen cat crusaders who came to show support for Tiger Lily, the feline she admitted to roasting like a Thanksgiving turkey in June 2009.
The unrepentive act was aimed at Sharon Tuerlings, a Levittown mortgage saleswoman who moonlights as an animal rescuer. She flipped Cherry the double bird when she was exiting the courtroom.
"It felt good to look at her ugly face. She should have gotten a longer sentence," said Tuerlings.

Monster. A cat isn’t a person but there is no excuse for cruelty.
It’s unusal for a female to have that personality profile.
Medicos, if they could be honest, would say shoot her; she’s a lifetime of trouble.
I can’t believe our society is so demented as to waste court time and room in our jails for a cat murderer.
Will we one day be arrested and tried for swatting a fly?
With a name like Cheyenne Cherry and that "it's dead b*tch attitude, I have my suspicions.
Profoundly evil in so many ways. I pray she never has a child. Animals are just the warmup for cruelty to humans.
First cats, then Conservatives.
There’s a pattern here.
Some acts are shocking for what they reveal about the person, not for the cost or the act itself. This young woman is the kind of psychopath that any people at any time would want kept from their society.
I think we will see her name again. I think many killers start out as children or teens killing animals. When that thrill is gone then it is people. I am to the point of where nothing shocks me anymore sadly.
LOL!!
There is only one thing Anon loves and that is cats, they will basically ruin anyone’s life if they abuse cats.
Thanks for the link. There’s a poll there if anyone’s interested in piling on this steaming piece of human(?) debris. Evolutionary nudge would be acceptable, Slings.
Does Cheyenne Cherry deserve more than one year in prison for the brutal death of a kitten?
Yes, what she did was horribly cruel. — 96%
No, one year for the life of a kitten is enough. — 4%
The animal cruelty is a sign of what sort of person she is — and she’s the sort who should be behind bars for a lot longer than one year.
“Cherry is not new to animal crimes. She was busted last year for using a BB gun to dog-nap a teacup Yorkie with her boyfriend. She was also arrested for robbing a man of his iPod at gunpoint.”

She’s 17. And this is just the list of crimes she’s been *caught* committing. No way is it anywhere close to the whole list of crimes she *has* committed. And since she’s totally unrepentant, you can be absolutely sure she’ll commit many more, and not limit her cruelty to non-human species.
This isn’t just about her killing a cat - hundreds of people kill cats every year. This is about the excessive amount of cruelty involved, because she put the cat in an oven while it was still alive and turned it on, then left because she didn’t want to hear the kitten’s cries. There’s absolutely no question that what she did was sick, twisted and wrong... do you really think she should go unpunished for something like that?
Oh, and what do you think will happen if this girl is ever responsible for a child (fortunately, her sexual orientation greatly reduces her chances of reproducing) and thinks that kind of cruelty is OK and goes unpunished? Look at all the really really twisted serial killers, they all started on animals at a young age.

This sums it up: “The pair fled the apartment because they didn’t want to hear the dying cat’s cries or desperate scratching at the oven door, authorities said.”
You don’t want to “waste court time” on a psychopath that would allow ANYTHING to suffer that terribly!?!? I agree only if the alternative is a bullet to her head. . .
