I agree, the combination of swine, avian, and human segments of the flu look suspicious. Drug cartel hitting back????

In Mexico, 16 Mexican states are reporting cases. Two dozen new suspected cases were reported in Mexico City on Saturday. President Calderon has closed all churches/schools/zoos/public venues in Mexico. Soccer games were held with no audiences allowed. Troops are patrolling Mexico City handing out masks, enforcing no public gathering rules. Catholic church will broadcast sermons since noone is allowed to attend church.

New Zealand is reporting 10 suspected cases, all students who traveled to Mexico. Israel reporting one case and France reportedly investigating 4 cases there.

Eleven cases of swine flu were confirmed in California, Texas and Kansas; seven are in Southern California. Sacramento Bee reports that of the three California cases in Imperial Valley and four cases in San Diego, none involved people who had traveled to Mexico.

Tamiflu and Relenza is reputedly effective against this current strain at this time however it’s too late to deploy tamiflu to Mexico City due to the large number of cases already reported in that city. The flu apparently is more fatal for those in the 20-40 age group (as was seen with Spanish Flu epidemic).

(Info above summarized from Sacramento Bee and Fox News sites)

Best Regards, blu
