TEA PARTY U.S.A. - It's about YOU the HARD WORKING TAX PAYERS!
My thoughts ^ | April 15, 2009 | Cindy

Posted on 04/15/2009 1:14:15 PM PDT by Cindy

Today, the voice of Americans was heard.

The Tea Party U.S.A. is not a one day national event -- it's the continuation of a chain of events and activism that will strengthen our country.

We are doing this primarily without main-stream media coverage.

That's o.k.

Your voice is being heard without the main-stream media.

Keep it up my fellow, patriotic Americans.

North Carolina Bus Tour To Focus on Putting Patients First in Health Care Debate (HD dealers!)

North Carolina Bus Tour To Focus on Putting Patients First in Health Care Debate
Tour Will Encourage Citizens to Support Free Market Health Care Solutions
Tour Begins Sunday in Raleigh, Continues All Week

Bus to meet activists in cities and towns all over North Carolina as Patients First tour urges constituent action against a government takeover of health care

As members of the North Carolina Congressional Delegation travel to their home districts over the legislative recess to hear from their constituents, Americans for Prosperity’s Patients First Bus Tour will hit the road, too. The tour will urge grassroots activists to speak out on behalf of patients and against a government takeover of health care.

“Americans are fired up about health care, and the bus tour gives more people the opportunity to come out and get involved,” said Dallas Woodhouse, state director of Americans for Prosperity and Patients First effort. “They’ve heard enough proposals from Washington that give government all the decision-making power. It is time for citizens to tell their legislators to stop, turn around, and pursue real reforms that put patients first.”

The Tour will begin with an open house in Raleigh on Sunday August 2nd and will end on Saturday August 8th. Over 30 stops are scheduled. The tour will include grassroots activists, medical professionals, local officials, doctors and patients.

Citizens will be urged to call their senators, visit their district offices, and sign the Patients First petition. The petition asks all members of Congress to oppose any legislation that imposes greater government control over health care and results in fewer choices for patients and their families. It can be viewed at www.JoinPatientsFirst.com.

“These proposals would change everything about health care as we know it. Instead of patients and doctors making decisions, it would be government bureaucrats,” said Woodhouse. “We’ve got to let lawmakers know that the American people simply don’t want a government takeover of their health care.”

People who cannot attend an event are encouraged to sign the petition at www.JoinPatientsFirst.com

The schedule listed below. Please note the schedule is subject to change. Visit www.afpnc.com to check for updates.

Another Extraordinary Ordinary Patriot of the Tea Party Movement
LloydMarcus.com ^ | 08-02-09 | Lloyd Marcus
Posted on August 2, 2009 9:15:49 AM PDT by Lloyd Marcus

I met Warren Kaul when I performed at the O Town Tea Party in Orlando, Florida. He was manning the Fair Tax booth. On stage, Warren expressed his displeasure with Obama’s stimulus “nightmare” and his plans to transform America.

Warren was born into extreme poverty and grew up in a two room shack in the hollows of Charleston, West Virginia. Encouraged by his mother, Warren was the first in his family to graduate high school. This was a major achievement for the Kaul family. Warren took it further and graduated college. Warren’s success inspired his two sisters to graduated college.

In the movie titled, “Rudy”, Rudy Ruettiger’s family were lower class steel workers. No Ruettiger had ever attended college. Rudy achieved the impossible by graduating from the University of Norte Dame. He broke his family’s paradigm. Several of his siblings followed earning college degrees. Warren is the “Rudy” of his family. It amazes me how pursuing your dream touches the lives of others in a positive way; a truth socialists do not understand.

Warren’s life has been full of challenges. He has suffered with essential tremors all of his life which made school very difficult for him. His career included teaching special education, sales, training and running his own business. At age 61 Warren was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder with hyperactivity and symptoms of Asperger syndrome. He is retired.

Despite years of saving and preparing for retirement, Warren’s IRA’s are greatly depressed. As a result, he cannot remove money without taking a great loss. Thus, Warren and his wife Karen live on Social Security. “Although we are struggling, we are probably in better shape than most people our age.” said Warren.

While Warren is not a millionaire, which is the typical marker of great success, I could not help but admire how far this man has come from his very humble beginnings. Warren’s character, hard work and determination to be the best he could be is a great American story. It also confirms the greatness of our country which Obama is determined to change. I am proud to call Warren Kaul, a patriot brother in our battle to Take Back America.

Lloyd Marcus, Singer/Songwriter of the national “American Tea Party Anthem”.

“Anti-tax activists stage protest”
The Columbus Dispatch ^ | August 2, 2009 | Jim Siegel
Posted on August 2, 2009 2:43:44 PM PDT by Loyal Buckeye

SNIPPET: “Cheering messages of limited government, lower taxes and states’ rights, thousands rallied yesterday at the Statehouse, hoping to continue a movement that began in the spring with nationwide tea parties.

The enthusiastic crowd took aim at government bailouts, rising national debt, “socialized” health care and even Columbus’ proposed income-tax increase.

If approved, the tax would increase from 2 percent to 2.5 percent and generate $90 million to $100 million a year. City voters will decide the issue on Tuesday.

“That’s $1 billion over the next 10 years taken out of wallets and given to an institution right over there that has proven to us that they can’t manage our money at all,” City Council candidate Matt Ferris told the crowd while pointing toward City Hall.

“Say ‘no’ to this massive tax.”

Organized by the Ohio Liberty Council, people arrived by the busload and expressed anger over issues such as taxes and government intrusion.”

“Healthcare town hall meetings - stay informed”
Jim Brown - OneNewsNow - 8/7/2009 6:20:00 AM

SNIPPET: “A Washington-based conservative group is notifying Americans when and where their U.S. senators and representative will be holding healthcare town hall meetings this month.

The Traditional Values Coalition (TVC) is offering the free service and is encouraging Americans to take part in the town hall meetings in their congressional district. TVC executive director Andrea Lafferty says the events are an opportunity for Americans to register genuine concerns, not the “manufactured outrage” the White House claims is on display at the town halls.”

Brian Sussman (www.KSFO.com) announced this rally/protest. (The following is edited. More detailed info at www.bayareapatriots.com).

Bay Area Patriots - Upcoming Event: Healthcare Protest!

WHEN: Friday, August 14th.

TIME: 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco.
See www.bayareapatriots.com for directions, parking, maps.

PLANS: A “Mock Town Hall Meeting.” Since the Speaker won’t come to us and answer our questions, we’ll bring the Speaker to you!
A Moment of Being Silenced…bring tape if you so desire as we’ll have 15 minutes of silence!
A Candle Vigil…for our missing representatives.
Healthcare professionals, please wear your uniforms and lab coats, etc.
The People will have the opportunity to speak for a few minutes with the Bullhorn. Keep it pithy and on point and keep your cool!

CONDUCT/SECURITY: If you see anything that doesn’t feel right or a participant who has a sign that doesn’t sound like one of ours or you see someone trying to goad us, point them out to a police officer and grab someone w/ a video camera.

We are angry but let’s use our anger creatively to get our point across. Do not give in to any attempts by infiltrators to anger you. That is what they are trying to do! Don’t give them and their pals in the press the upper hand.

WHAT TO BRING: Your signs and a red T-shirt. Signs should stick to the healthcare theme....
