The Obama birth certificate

Posted on 12/15/2008 4:41:09 PM PST by Coachm

Would like to hear some thoughts on why Rush, Sean and Mark Levin don't talk about this issue. It has obvious merit from the point that Obama has fought to keep it secret.

Right-wing Talk Radio - including Rush, Hannity, Coulter, Ingraham, and others - all stand to make indecent amounts of money for the next eight years.

Their show ratings, book sales, ad dollars, and golfing cred are about to increase because of all those right-wing disenfranchised marginalized impotent bitter glun-clingers who will hang on their every word like a twelve-step program.

They have only their interests at heart, not yours - remember what Rush tells you, “My job is to talk - your job is to listen.”

And pay the royalties.

Levin won’t touch it because he is a brilliant lawyer. He knows it has no chance. There are gaping loopholes in our process and Obama sauntered through them. It is too late. Any discovery or procedural change might help us 2012 but Obama will be the 44th president.

Rush & Sean won’t mention it because they follow Levin’s lead on legal matters.

Whatever Obama's hiding, it's not likely that he was born in Kenya.

So whatever comes out, big or small, if you were one of the people saying he was born there, you're going to look silly.

Now if the craziest speculation is by some miracle true, you'll have made a name for yourself if you supported it, but really what are the odds?

if rush is indeed avoiding this topic out of fear, then what good is he? why should we listen to him if he caves to the MSM pressures so easily?

If rush is indeed afraid, then I would have no choice but to call him a pig(as an orwellian reference)...he’s the same as the one’s he is claiming to be better than. The new media is the same as the old media.

I hope not. But why won’t he even comment on it out of curiosity then? He’s acting like it doesn’t even exist. why?

I'd have to guess that's because he think's it doesn't exist - a non-issue or at least a non-starter.

“rush is afraid of no one.”
>>>>>>.............
let me rephrase that: Rush is afraid of THE Over ones..

those who pull the strings the elites of Power

If you lost your IRA and 401K or job this fall and ask why
If you think this election was staged
If you think this global warming bs is a giant fake
If you know the News is managed
If you see Open borders and mass illegals and say why
You are getting close to understanding what is about to happen to our country and world.

You posed an intellectually legitimate question. However, it appears many of the throw-in-the-towel koolaid drinkers took it as an open house invitation.

Ouderkirk and others are correct. If a courageous politician does defend the constitution on Jan 8, conservative talk show hosts understand the SWHTF and they do not want to be id’d as a target.

Further, although I believe an objection will be presented on Jan 8, we will end up with Hillary.

What leads me to this conclusion? If O was born in Hawaii to Mr & Mrs. O, Sr. there would be nothing embarrassing about his birth records and he would not be expending effort and large sums to avoid production of the records.

Either way, the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free will have a Marxist for a president in 2009.

since when has Rush been afraid of being margninalized?

Since (not) FAIR took out a full page ad (in the NY Times, I think) about Rush and Vince Foster.

Not fair in the least. It isn’t cowardice, it’s common sense. He isn’t a reporter. He can’t go there and do the shoe leather bit. He is a commentator. His business is to comment, not investigate. He would be stupid to leap on the bandwagon not knowing what the facts were. Rush is anything but stupid.

You seem really cavalier when it is someone else’s butt on the line. You might want to rethink how you label people before someone has ‘no choice’ but to call YOU a keyboard warrior or armchair commando.

***That’s exactly the point. They wouldn’t have that fear if their butts were not on the line. It’s also why, as a constitutional republic, we employ 9 judges for life so they can be free of such political calculus. Their lack of courage just sold our republic down the river.

I just think there should be a standard procedure where anyone running for president has to produce their birth certificate with the FEC when they register. It would be so simple, yet there is absolutely no requirement that anyone running for president prove they are a natural born citizen. Why????

It has obvious merit from the point that Obama has fought to keep it secret.

The COLB debacle is just another Obama skeleton that will go nowhere, do nothing and ultimately serve to drag the name of Conservatives further through the mud as fringe whackjobs who love a good conspiracy. No matter how much dirt and corruption and smears we could lay on Obama, regardless of their merit, it does absolutely NOTHING to fix the piss-poor state of the Conservative party. That's it. The Liberals love watching us chase our tails, bitch & moan and exclaim "a-ha!" while the Republic is jacked from under us.

The ultra-biased media isn't going away... the corrupt scumbags in DC aren't going away... the looming Socialist utopia is almost upon us. This crap is akin to pulling the splinter out of a man dying of leukemia and hoping it will kill the cancer. Gimme a break... find something constructive to do instead of perpetuating the notion that pulling a Liberal down somehow lifts the Conservative party up

Excellent question.

It doesn’t make sense that no one has discussed this issue(unless I missed it).

James Taranto WSJ wrote an article on the Best of the Web and called the issue silly. His article didn’t answer the basic questions and didn’t make sense to me.

I think some may be afraid of the consequences if this becomes a constitutional crisis and the potential rioting.

I feel that there is a level of corruption and incompetence throughout this country that is more pervasive than the Illinois governor issue.

I see it at the local level and everyone just ignores the corruption, criminal activity and incompetence of local government officials.

Well, that’s a good analysis, imho.

But it doesnt answer the question of why Levin and the others havent come out and at least commented that “it is an interesting angle, and presents a novel legal/constitutional situation, but i dont see it succeeding”, or something along those lines. Maybe Rush did say something like that.

To say virtually nothing about these cases pending against the POS-elect is unusal, also jmo.

It is an interesting situation, havinga POS-elect possibly be a foreigner, and good fodder for talk radio. I am sick about hearing about bailouts and the UAW, and wouldnt have minded hearing some of their opinions on these cases(specifically Levin’s).

There are a lot of other cases that get discussed in the news. Completely ignoring discussion of these cases raises more suspicions, some of which have surfaced in this thread.
