Years ago I had a fridge with a freezer that iced up so bad you needed a hammer & chisel before using the hair drier. I don’t miss those days at all.

My mother wrote a poem 70 years ago, and sold it (and all rights) for a dollar. Now, it shows up in poetry books everywhere, as written by "anonymous".

Doesn't change the things, of course-
Just smiling.
But it cannot make them worse -

And it seems to help your case,
Brightens up a gloomy place,

No, I hadn’t seen the SPAM SOUP, until you called it to my attention....

That delicious soup you made with all those veggies sounded terrific to me.

When my hubby and I were young and he was in the service, we occasionally bought Spam....(it was like our ham) LOL! I haven’t seen any in years but the best I can remember it wasn’t all that bad. When you are in the service without a lot of money, you would be surprised what tastes good!

L.J., I did lay back down...now I gotta get a shower and get myself presentable. We are going to “Fishtales” tonight to celebrate my DIL’s birthday. I do love their fish and seafood. I always love seafood.

All 15 of our ladies in attendance at the luncheon yesterday donned their Red Hats. Thats unusual...a few of use don’t wear them occasionally...(sometimes its me) but most of the time we wear them.
