Based on a 5 year old girl, this robot is supposed to be more lifelike than ever.

Really creepy.
When in college, a friend got married, and of course there was an “adult film” at his bachelor party. The, um, star wore a choker just like that (and not much else, at least not for long).
So: Ew. Perhaps it’s just that unfortunate conditioning, but I don’t doubt for a moment that there are sexual intentions for this robot. A “five-year old” doesn’t have any business wearing something like that.
I bet she’d be a hit with the Our Little Miss pageant crowd. You know what I mean.
I didn't even read the part about her being a five year old girl, but still... a robotic service dog would be preferable to her... as far as hittin' it goes... obviously, I have notoriously low standards.

Good question, it is English (as in UK) slang for a scientist in a lab coat.
Were okay, as long as they program in Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Given that it's modeled on a five year old, I'd say that's not the 'droid you're looking for...
