Roswell Aliens Theory Revived by Deathbed Confession (Cue Spooky Music)
The Australian Sunday Telegraph ^ | July 01, 2007 12:30am | from correspondents in Washington

Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at the base in 1947 and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of base commander, Colonel William Blanchard.

Haut died last year but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.

Last week, text was released and asserts that the weather balloon claim was a cover story and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar.

He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.

Haut is the only one of the original participants to claim to have seen alien bodies.

Haut's affidavit talks about a high-level meeting he attended with base commander Col William Blanchard and the Commander of the Eighth Army Air Force, General Roger Ramey.

Haut states that at this meeting, pieces of wreckage were handed around for participants to touch, with nobody able to identify the material.

Haut also spoke about a clean-up operation, where for months afterwards military personnel scoured both crash sites searching for all remaining pieces of debris, removing them and erasing all signs that anything unusual

Haut then tells how Colonel Blanchard took him to "Building 84" - one of the hangars at Roswell - and showed him the craft itself.

He describes a metallic egg-shaped object around 3.6m-4.5m in length and around 1.8m wide.

He said he saw no windows, wings, tail, landing gear or any other feature.

He saw two bodies on the floor, partially covered by a tarpaulin.

They are described in his statement as about 1.2m tall, with disproportionately large heads.

Towards the end of the affidavit, Haut concludes: "I am convinced that what I personally observed was some kind of craft and crew from outer space".

I can’t imagine someone going to their death bed with that left behind as a joke. If this is real....... It means the government has been hiding the illegal alien problem for a long time.

Yes, I guess the question sort of ignores the von Daniken type stuff.....but if there were extraterrestrials here way back then (and I certainly believe they might have been), any nuclear detonations would not have been produced by earthlings. Nonetheless, the detonations above groubd during WWII and later would surely be a signal to anyone out there capable of noticing it that we had discovered certain elements and some processes of interest to them as well as us.It seems reasonably notable that all the UFO fuss in the modern world began after our first detonations.

No offense to my Mexican cousins but I don’t really find some of their claims credible. They’ve had some UFO’s caught on tape and they've been found out later to be hoaxes.

I wish he said where the alleged bodies are.

On this news, Art Bell has retired. Although the declamation is notarized, it is just a statement and was released in December.

Thanks, very interesting site. I’d seen a couple of them but so many of them really makes one think.

I had to go to the main page and then link to this -

It sure seems to. On some television program about UFO's there was a report about a UFO outside a guardhouse on a base. Before it left all of their underground missils had been deactivated. I hope they were some of the "good guys" and deactivated our enemies as well.

Thank you so much for that link. I think it does more than “make one think”. What could they possible be except what they appear to be? The paintings aren’t hoaxes as they were painted long before there was anything except a bird flying in the air.

I believe this man’s “deathbed confession”. There are just too many “normal” people that have reported them for it not to be true.
