Beauregard, I'm late joining in, but I have to disagree with ozark.... and I just have to say she doesn't get it. Out on the water, fishing, nothing like it, whether its the river, a lake, a pond, deep sea, whatever. Nothing beats fishing, and coooking and eating your catch. Communing with nature on the water. Its a religious experience. Only thing better is camping, primitive or luxurious, doesn't matter. I'm always ready for it. Just be sure there is food and beer, and a fire at night, or candles.... I have hunted. I love the woods, nature and all, and I eat the game, but, fishing is the best

Well, I gotta confess...

When I fish, I do the catch and release thing. Except for fried catfish, I don't really like to eat fish. So, not gonna catch & keep something I won't eat.

haha, I like "out on the water" but not so much after that. Only one time I've been fishing that I liked, sunset, and every time I put the line in the water, I came out with a fish. Every other time, I read a book.
