I was a little commie punk when I was his age but I eventually I saw the light and grew up and became a conservative. A lot of conservatives went through the same thing.

His 'America' book is good insight into the shallow, America hate-think of the left. Particularly interesting to read the comparisons between the Bush and Kerry families, a pseudo attempt to seem balanced (supposedly making fun of both sides) but making the same sort of "fun" of Kerry
Granma might make of Fidel Castro -- really lame, and as pointed (and now totally stale) as F9/11.
the pages dedicated to foreign countries are particularly hard to stomach -- astonishingly weak, unimaginative, and simplistic.
