His 'America' book is good insight into the shallow, America hate-think of the left. Particularly interesting to read the comparisons between the Bush and Kerry families, a pseudo attempt to seem balanced (supposedly making fun of both sides) but making the same sort of "fun" of Kerry Granma might make of Fidel Castro -- really lame, and as pointed (and now totally stale) as F9/11.

the pages dedicated to foreign countries are particularly hard to stomach -- astonishingly weak, unimaginative, and simplistic.

I thought that Richard Bey captured the essence of Mr. Stewart's comic genius in an offhand remark he made, while he still had a weekend slot on 77 WABC.

Something to the effect of, Jon Stewart is funnier than Craig Kilborn.

Of course, it wasn't intended as a flattering comparison.
