Lynn just gave a ringing endorsement of W on the convention floor.
Very impressive.

Good to see where Troy Aikman's money goes. He's a regular contributor according to that website.

I went to college in central Ohio in the mid to late 70's. Lotsa Cleveland fans, lotsa Steelers fans. Here I was a Baltimore boy suffering through the lean last years of their tenure in B'more.
What really killed me was the 79 World Series. Ouch.

Looking at the Freep name I'm guessing Mike Munchak
"Elementary, my dear Watson." You are
surely correct. Damn, I was even an Oilers fan in the 80s.

Yeah, Franco has been involved in Rat campaigns in Pittsburgh for a long time, unlike most of his former teammates.

Did you have to show this catch?? LOL. They're still crying in Big D about that one. ;~))
I saw just about every game Swann played, many from the stands, and believe it or not that catch was not even close to his best all time catch. He could do some incredible things. Just an amazing athlete.

Bradshaw is an arrogant ass.
I live near where he does and nobody that EVER encountered him here had a nice thing to say about him. In fact, one guy told him to get his ass back in line when he tried to cut ahead at the movies. Bradshaw pulled the "Do you know who I am shtick." and the guy said, "Yeah Terry, I do. Now, get your ass back in line."

Rocky Blier was my man... four SuperBowls and still collecting, i think it was 40%, disability pay since the Army said he's prolly never walk again. (wounded twice in one day)
the whole team was fantastic
Way to GO Lynn Swann... they should try to get Bradshaw on board

Let's hope "Heinz" Ward is next. He could swing 100k votes for Bush.

Any of younz guys want to come to Weirton on Thursday to watch Pres. Bush accept his nomination at my Convention Watch Party are invited to do so. Won't cost you anything. (You pay for any alcohol you drink) FReep mail for details. The place is one exit past Star Lake/Pavillion. Big tv, surround sound....should be good. Mountaineer and hubby will be there. So far we have around 50 people. It'll be fun being surrounded by like minded Patriots. What say you?

I used to work in an office down the hall from Lynn Swann's company. When he was in, he would stop by, hang out and chit chat with all of us. He was incredibly funny, friendly and unpretentious. How cool that he's a Bush supporter.

Yeah, that must've hurt. You guys were up 3 games to 1. I'll never forget Willie Stargell leading us back to victory in that 7th game. I was 12 years old. I really miss Pops! He was a great man. The 70's was a heck of a decade for us Berg fans. It started off great with the 71 World Series, then turned pretty bad losing Roberto Clemente, but Arriba Man wouldn't have been proud of us! 4 Steeler Superbowls sandiwched between two Pirate World Series wins. Go Berg!
