This is a Twitchy thread, but I found the comments interesting as to the issue of some of the illegal aliens wearing 5.11 gear.
Is that clothing really special in that it is not usually sold in big box stores?

I have a bunch of it. Love it. Comfortable, well made, but...expensive.
Good stuff. It does make you look like a cop, though. And if you have short hair, the effect is even more pronounced.
But great clothes.

I’ve never seen 5.11 sold in big box stores, but it’s more Chinese-made crap (well, to be honest, also Vietnam, with some items made here) so you can go get it off Temu instead.
