Tucker Carlson has been in Russia for a few days, now, and the potential for an interview with the ‘official boogeyman of the west’, Russian President Vladimir Putin, is driving liberals, Rinos and Ukraine shills into a frenzy.

TGP’s Jim Hoft reported on it in Tucker Carlson Spotted in Moscow, Russia Amid Speculation of Upcoming Vladimir Putin Interview.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/02/tucker-carlson-spotted-moscow-russia-amid-speculation-upcoming/

If the Tucker-Putin interview indeed happens, it will be a massive breach of the gate-keeping by western Globalist mass media that prevents its citizens from having access to information.

Not everyone is mad at it, of course, most level-headed people welcome it. Democratic party Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s reaction: ‘The legacy media is in shambles because we’ve caught on to their lies and propaganda’.

We should pull out of most of Europe to just 2 of 3 bases where the bases become American soil in perpetuity. We should seize the Island of Cypress from both the Greeks and Turks on a 99 year lease with Greece only and turn it into an unsinkable aircraft carrier. Those troops should be there to keep Europe and the Middle East in line.

Nailed it. I agree Putin broke the treaty dividing the lands, and launched a dubiously justified war of aggression against Ukraine killing many soldiers and citizens alike.

But the western media and political elites cannot countenance the people being free to hear challenges to the narrative. They want control over the messages in order to push their agendas whatever they may be. They don’t want and try to prevent open dialogue. The other side has to mocked and vilified. This is a major conflict with great costs to everyone. Someone has to talk, and the people have a right to hear more detail and more nuance from a free media than sloganeering an virtue signaling “orange man bad” and “shirtless horse rider Nazi” etc.

Musk buying Twitter may be the best thing to happen to free speech since the Pentagon Papers ruling. Hopefully any interview will be available on X.

I wonder if they will raise the issue of US bioweapon labs in Ukraine? This interview could prove to be a very big deal. The MSM can try to ignore it but Tucker has a very large audience and other political pundits are likely to talk about this interview too.

... one car, etc. It surely takes more than that for the recording equipment and staff....

Perhaps Putin had everything at the ready.

... He did a Q&A domestically somewhat recently and most of the questions asked him were not about Ukraine.

Did you get the impression that the questioning was free and spontaneous?

My father always insisted that the US and Russia were natural allies. He would be well over 100 years old now.

The MSM will not report it....If they don’t report it, it did not happen................

I think you are giving the MSM too much credit for the influence they have these days.

I agree. That wasn't what I was disagreeing with. My point was about the MSM's infuence. Yes, the MSM will surely relegate things that they don't like down the memory hole. But the alternative media will cover it.

If the MSM doesn't cover something, it doesn't mean that it did not happen. Others won't cover it and the majority of people will know about it.
