The Army is mourning the unexpected loss of a young soldier-athlete who had her sights set on an Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling this summer.

Spc. Estrella “Star” Dorado Marin, 21, died Jan. 3 in Thornton, Colo., of complications from emergency surgery, the Army said in a statement Wednesday.

She had experienced numbness in her upper extremities from blood clots, her family told the Army.

Dorado Marin, whose nickname came from the English translation of her first name, enlisted in the Army in 2020 as a fuel supply specialist and later joined the service’s World Class Athlete Program as a freestyle wrestler.

Not often at all. More have in the last year than 1950-2021 combined.

But without the Covid shot her death would have been much worse.

If you’re going to have an opinion about a scientific or medical question, you need to think like a scientist or a doctor as follows: blood clots from the clot shot are far more common than blood clots from sports injuries.

“If you’re going to have an opinion about a scientific or medical question, you need to think like a scientist or a doctor as follows: blood clots from the clot shot are far more common than blood clots from sports injuries.”

Are they? Because pretty much any injury — internal and external — will produce some degree of clotting (it’s what helps to keep us from bleeding to death); it’s the body’s natural response to trauma and injury. Most clots are dissolved within the body and present no risk.

So, present your evidence that the jab produces more clots than injuries or trauma.

And what the bleep kind of surgery were they doing?

The surgeons should have consulted with you first.

Blood clots are common after surgery. Another example of the anti-vax crowd huffing and puffing hoping this one is THE one that proves the BS. She died of a complication of surgery where DVTs are common place. Not the vaccine.

The error is that you’re allowing imagination and language to obscure real life observation.

The key is “some degree of clotting.” What we’re talking about is clotting that causes a problem, not clotting that goes undetected when the system resolves itself internally.

So, no response. Which is pretty much what I expected. I was actually looking forward to one of your patented “formulas” or “equations.”

The problem is not that there may be myriad reasons for the cause of death from blood clots, the problem is that we're immediately assured by medical "experts" that, as the Babylon Bee so cleverly noted, the cause is definitely not that "one thing."

No, the key is the CLAIM that this girl died from clots caused by the jab. I challenged that claim, because there is no evidence to support it. Another FReeper took issue with my comment that many clots are the result of injury, and that FReeper claimed that clots from the jab were far more common. Of course, there was no evidence provided to support the claim that clots from the jab were more common.

Clotting is the body’s natural defense against bleeding to death. Any blood-dependent body’s response to injury long pre-dates the jab (by several million years, at least). In response to injury the body’s platelets and proteins form a blood clot to prevent blood loss. If that clot breaks off it can become an embolism.

Clotting is a natural function of the body to maintain life.

You’re a religious guy; so, if you believe God created life, you must necessarily believe that God created what makes that life, and what sustains that life. Thus, if you have issues with a body’s natural defenses — particularly clotting — I suggest you direct your concerns to God.

Let me help…
THE = capital letters for emphasis
BS = Bullsh*t
DV = only medical term. Deep venous thrombosis.

Hope this clarifies.
