Oh the horror... cold in January
Lucky for those people, unfortunately for me, we aren’t getting any interesting weather here, we haven’t hit the teens yet and probably won’t see any snow that sticks.
I haven’t seen anything to suggest the temps will be 74 degrees below the norm, but yes, it looks like we’ll be getting the yearly arctic blast next week. Time to stock up on bread and milk!!!

So now we Americans are employing that British term
“Gobsmacked”? Oh well. In many ways, we remain a Melting Pot of various cultures. The main ingredients to that pot have been recently changed.
If you’re basing January on about 40 degrees, 76 degrees below THAT is some 30 degrees below zero F.
Anybody think that’s likely?

Just watch. This exceptionally cold front will be blamed on climate change, which means it is the fault of capitalism and Republicans.
So where is it 76 degrees below January normal right now? People must be dying by the thousands! Please declare a national emergency and rescue those folks!
I pray for this extreme cold.
It helps build the arctic Ice sheet, stimulates the replenishment of glaciers, preserves polar bear habitat, increases the planet’s albedo, staying off for another day the existential threat of global warming.

This is NOT an important weather event. Corporate Media has yet to name this weather event.
I am in Indiana. I see teens and bitter cold starting Jan 14th-21st. One week . The coldest we had last year was some sub zero temps around Christmas.
This article is totally to cause angst.
