People will try to buy gold, but remember, the government has once before denied its people the right to own gold (more than one ounce). So the Treasury will simply follow the digital trail to your door, or your mattress, at which time your precious metal will be subject to confiscation without compensation. Your imprisonment and ruination will serve as a warning to others.

He said India just dropped the USD and adopted the rupee. Said Russia and China are now trading in Yuans. Multiple other countries.
Folks at the expense of sounding alarmist this could be bad. Really bad.
Inflation will be the first consequence, as central banks around the world, no longer needing dollars to buy oil, will dump them on the world market in exchange for other currencies. This will be beyond the control of the fed or the treasury, and flood the market. There will be many sellers and few buyers.
If the dollar collapses then that is the end of the US as a superpower.
Probably shouldn’t sanction every country we disagree with.

This would be a good time to invest in enhanced home alarm systems. It's not going to be enough to have door, window and inside alarms, you'll want to know when anyone is anywhere on your property. (If you're technically inclined, search on 'Hubitat'.)
Buying the hardware to put up barbed wire fences would be a good step (get it while it's cheap). It would be good to understand the grades/durability of different barbed wire products. Generally the best barbed wire can be obtained at agricultural co-ops.
Make sure vehicles are secured against catalytic converter theft. (I had the local utility company install a new street light beside my outdoor parking area, which helped greatly.)
Make sure you not only have weapons, but ammo, magazines, speed-loaders, and the gear and ability to perform basic cleaning of those weapons.
Get metals. If the dollar hyperinflates, $10k in metals today might pay off a mortgage tomorrow. And an oz of silver might purchase a surprising amount of food.

There are a LOT Of assets in the US.
Drive down any highway in the US, do the same in a BRICs country. The difference is stark.
Is most of it built on debt...sure.
Could the dollar inflate to where it actually belongs, sure.
There are STILL a lot of assets here. This means that a Weimar wheel barrow full of money or 100 trillion dollars notes simply won’t happen.
Will most of us middle class types get wiped out? Yup. It won’t be mad max though. It’ll be something else that has never happened before and there will be something that rises out of the ashes. What that looks like? Whose to say but we won’t end up looking like a slum in Brazil.

Do you really think that global investors are going to put their assets in the YUAN? A currency that the CCP manipulates every time their exports decrease. The only other currency in the world people have confidence in is the EURO.
People are buying BITCOIN more than anything.
I suspect that it will happen right after christ ruptures the saints. The event will cause mass panic, and mass scramb,inb by the left who,are left behind to explain away what happened. It will also cause a financial meltdown somehow.

This is the plan. This is why Biden is in office. This is why they are going so hard after President Trump. If Trump were to become President again...the oil fields here in America would open again, he would refill the US oil reserves. He would be tough on NATO, UN and the WHO and possible completely defund them so they could not gain more control over the US. The FBI would be downsized or shut down. Trump wouldn’t put up with what the Pentagon is doing to the military and the Jan. 6th folk would be home, not in jail. In other words, the US would be working again and the dollar wouldn’t go anywhere. What the Dems are doing to our country is madness and unforgivable.
The British pound sterling did not lose reserve status overnight. It was a multi-decades long process exacerbated by WWI and WWII, the Depression and the infamous loss of Great Britain’s military foray in the Suez canal incident. It was not as great a loss as the USA in Afghanistan and Iraq and the mess in Syria, along with the proto-world war in Ukraine, but enough to completely damage Britain’s place as a military world power. Of course, America was complicit in the loss in Egypt by its calculated nonparticipation.
By the early 1960s, Britain was suffering from economic malaise and constant strikes. (Spouse was in London for a year during this period and saw the results.)
Breaking things and stomping around the world has consequences. The US is being outflanked and out maneuvered
while the Deep State and its neocon termites eat away at our provenance.
You and I will probably see the steady, slow demise of the US, but our children and grandchildren will live the effect.
