It's not really a chiropractic procedure although they seem to be the ones who do this. No cracking of the spine involved.

It has to do with the hydraulics in your inner ears - the ones that tell your brain your head is moving.

I had a sudden issue with the room spinning out of control when I lifted my head to look up or laid down flat. Very scary as I do spend a lot of time going up ladders - then looking up.
