The Game-Changer From My Exclusive Interview with President Donald J. Trump
GP ^ | May 28, 2021 | WAYNE ROOT

Are you ready to hear it? Are you ready to change history? I want President Trump to run for a House seat in 2022. Pick a winnable Republican district in Florida- where the President is beloved. I promise 74+ million Trump voters will get excited. They will volunteer, donate, spread the word and yes, many will move to your district in Florida to help elect you, Mr. President.

This isn’t about one House seat. With Trump campaigning and leading the battle, Republicans will sweep to victory in 2022 with the biggest GOP voter turnout in history. We will win a GOP House landslide by 40 to 60 seats- just like 2010 and 2014.

Now to the important part of my plan. Next, the GOP Congress elects Donald J. Trump as Speaker of the House- the second most powerful job in America. From that platform, Trump rules DC for the next two years. He is Biden’s worst nightmare…

Speaker of the House Trump can open a dozen criminal investigations against Biden. He can lead the impeachment of Biden (how ironic would that be?). He can block every single Biden bill. He will stop the Biden agenda dead in its tracks.

And don’t forget, Speaker of the House Trump can sit behind Biden for each State of the Union address. I can’t wait to watch that.

Yup. Nancy having to see his smug, smiling face every session makes me grin ear to ear.

Living rent free in her head is simply hilarious, but that would be glorious.

Absolutely. Plus, the liberals would be completely distracted with going after him for anything they can come up with possibly interfering with their anti-American agenda.

‘Speaker of the House Trump can sit behind Biden for each State of the Union address’

A big smile on his face he whole time.

It would restore the house to it’s proper power.

House in 2022 and presidency in 2024. :)

~~~
Trump strategists will want strong confidence that the republicans win the house back. I honestly don’t see him wanting all the work of being a legislator while being in the minority and having so much less ability to affect change like you would in the majority. Trump is a do-er and if they don’t take back the house it will seem like a lot of exercise in futility and better to focus on 2024.
I’m sure they already have very strong intel, and even strategy, for the 2022 congressional elections though.
Could we steal a senate seat or 2 from a blue state?
A new contract would have every candidate ‘open’ to having him as speaker.
Trump is an executive and a marketer. The House Speaker job is administrative and political. It is all about herding cats, each with its own support base and objectives. It is all about Washington insider politics, which eventually brought Trump down.
If I lived in Florida and Trump ran in my district for the purpose you describe, I would not vote for him just as I would not vote for Laura Trump if she shows up in North Carolina to run for the Senate seat. Carpetbagger representatives do little for the people of the districts they represent because their goals are to advance another agenda, which may or may not always be in alignment with the wishes of the people of the district. Look at Mitt Romney’s behavior as the carpetbagger Senator from Utah — did he represent the people when he constantly went on television opposing Trump?
Suppose Trump becomes one of 435 representatives in the house with no seniority. Suppose he runs for speaker. There are enough RINO’s to keep Trump or any conservative from becoming speaker should the GOP be in the majority. That’s why Jim Jordan or Devin Nunes isn’t the minority leader. If the donor base doesn’t want Trump to be Speaker, there will be enough private conversations with individual GOP Congressmen, about their sources of funds for future elections, to ensure they do not vote for Trump.
Consider what happens if Trump is elected to Congress but doesn’t become speaker and is just one of 435 representatives. How effective can he be in an extremely boring job for someone used to directing large organizations? AOC will have more seniority than Trump and no doubt will delight in needling him everyday. He lacks the diplomatic skills and finesse to live in an organization where he has no power and his inflated ego is under attack everyday.
Finally, if Trump were elected to Congress and the Democrats retained a majority, you can bet on the Democrat Speaker, particularly if it is Pelosi, conducting a vote to expel him from the House. The House makes its own rules and has the power to expel individual members.
John Quincy Adams, after serving as President, served as a Representative in the House for Massachusetts.
So there is precedent. And W.A.R. is right about the amount of support Trump would get in Florida.
