Found this by chance, and it seemed like something to lift our spirits in these difficult times.

This is a composite from the latest and in my opinion, best take on H. G. Wells' The Time Machine. Worth your time if you enjoy this sort of thing. Remarkable attention to detail. The time machine itself is beautifully visualized and rendered. You might get a glimpse of H. G. Wells portrait in Alexander's study.

I had not heard of Sebastian Jarus, who composed and played the music you'll hear before I found this video. It is a stunning and epic piece. Good headphones or playback through a good system is highly recommended. BTW, the OST is also a great set of music.

Side note: The director, Simon Wells is H. G. Wells' great-grandson.

This is a different take on Wells' original, and I think it's a better one. Enjoy. Watch the movie.

Time After Time with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen was a lot of fun.

Time After Time with Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen was a lot of fun.

That movie told the story of San Francisco in a nutshell when Mary was talking to another lady at the bank about a strange Englishman she had met.

"Is he Gay?"
"no"
"that's good enough."

Why does he precariously hang the locket on the machine instead of keeping it safely in a pocket?

Why does the pocket watch go backward in time when he's going forward in time?

That movie (the 21st-century remake) absolutely STUNK!

Full of itself; overdone special effects; confusing, bloated, and self-contradictory story line; etc.

Regards,

It’s because it’s a pastiche of scenes taken from the movie. He does go back at first.

He didn't have a pair of hanging dice?
