Its NOTHING to do with shyness, it has to do with FEAR..I wont tell anyone who I am voting for out of fear of being killed. I dont answer the phone to pollsters and I will be voting in person

Agreed. I am a loyal and determined Trump supporter but you wouldn’t know by my car, head or yard. I don’t favor seeing my car keyed or being assaulted. I do contribute financially to the campaign but forget the “loud and proud”. I admire those people but I am a female senior citizen in a deep blue state and have to be realistic: the leftists are the real fascists and Brown Shirts.

Polls in 2016 were inaccurate (or corrupt) and they will learn 2020 will be much more extreme.

ANTIFA/BLM is rampaging through the streets. Media, universities, and many corporations are all full-court-press on shrill, “woke” politics, and in many cases, they will seek to punish people who expose their politics. In such an environment, few average Americans would expose their true political feelings to strangers.

Therefore, they lie to or ignore, pollsters. For me, when pollsters call, I purposely lie to them - not out of fear, but to screw with their results.

You are right, it has everything to do with fear. I’m voting for Trump but would never put a sign in my yard or sticker on my car for fear of what the crazy left might do.

I think it is our ace in the hole. Under sampling caused HRC to misallocate resources 4 years ago, and I think it is much worse (or better) this year.

For sure. I can’t talk about politics except with my brother. We agree on all of it.

As for work and others... never happen. The place where I work is VERY liberal and I’d probably be fired.

I certainly would not do a bumper sticker or a yard sign... that just invites vandalism, or worse

True story: I’m walking out of Chipotle with my teenage daughter. We are wearing NOTHING political and my car has NOTHING political on it. As we are walking to our car, a black guy sitting in a car next to us with his window down says: “Yo, you with Trump”? I responded: Absolutely. He responded: “Then go F yourself.”
I wasn’t scared, but I know many women or older folks would have been frightened by this. Yes, some Trump people feel intimidated.

Strange how you see more and more ‘conservative’ news outlets, whether online or cable, adopting woke language. You make a valid point, instead of the idiot writing this calling it what it actually is, fear, they instead adopt the usage of ‘shy’.......

I don’t even have to be shy. Everyone in the liberal city I live in just assumes I vote D and assumes I hate climate deniers, anti-choicers, Trump, guns, religion, etc., and they do this by spouting their ideas and “jokes” echoed throughout the mass media and assuming I agree. I do agree that the ideas they are echoing are out there - how can you get away from them - but they never even consider I might disagree.

I was hanging out with some people I was taking an improv class with, and I admitted I didn’t vote D. You’d think I just confessed to having a low IQ and being a serial killer. They couldn’t believe it because I was well spoken on their issues. And a wee bit funny. Maybe.
