This "woman of color" thing is just plain gonna lose bigger than the hail Mary Ferarro pick in 1984- all the black women are whako and/or ugly. Newsom is the pretty boy Biden isn't and has won a big time governorship. who can claim success. Biden will still lose but it will set up the party for the next battle. He wins and Newsom becomes the crown prince and POTUS within a year.
Biden will have some explaining to do but the party elders did it when they screwed Bernie so they’ll just have to do it again.
I hope he picks Tlaib or Omar.

Newsom is their Golden Boy for 2024. They won’t let him sully his reputation on Biden’s losing ticket.
Michael sf-It wouldn’t have to save him from the recall. The signatures can be turned in as late as 2 weeks AFTER Nov. 3rd. Assuming sleepy Joe loses we can still go after Newsom-a tough task.

His wisest move would be to pick Michelle Obama.
But Hillary still has a chance. If Biden bows out (or is pushed out) after the convention but before the election, the DNC gets to pick his replacement. Then it could be Hillary to the rescue.
Biden’s going to pick Michelle Obama. I’ve been saying this for over a year, and I am sticking to that prediction. It’s the only way he could win even without massive fraud.
I believe the one week delay in announcing the pick reflects frantic negotiations going on behind the scenes, as Valerie Jarrett tries to once again take over the White House by putting one of her operatives in place.
I’m not sure if Michelle O is a woman, but I have no doubt that she is “of color”.
Newsome would benefit from the exposure like the Kenyan at the convention in 04’. He just has to make a favorable impression. Stranger things have happened-Clinton-92. Biden could win and Newsome would be off the table for till at least 2028.
