Body camera footage from Officer Garrett Rolfe and Officer Devin Brosan were released by the Atlanta Police Department on Saturday.
The footage clearly shows Atlanta police officers behaving respectfully and doing everything they were supposed to do.
According to reports Rayshard Brooks fell asleep in a Wendy’s parking lot on Friday night.
When the police arrived Rayshard failed a breathalyzer test. Then when police attempted to arrest Brooks he became violent.
Brooks was caught on camera wrestling with police and resisting arrest.
He was shot dead after he took the officer’s taser gun and fled down the street and fired the taser at police.

Brooks was fighting two police officers.
Now new video released shows the officers being patient and respected to Rayshard Brooks before he resisted arrest.
It appears the police did everything in their power to keep calm and control the situation.
It’s when Brooks became violent, beat the police, and then fired the taser at police that he ended up dead.
There’s a lesson here.

I believe in segregation. If some want to intermingle fine. but have the option to deport them to black or white sections of the city or suburb.
Being a police officer is a tough job, but these officers did nothing wrong based on what we can see here. Compare what you see on this video to the press conference the family and the ambulance chasers held yesterday about the incident.
It is a total disconnect with reality. A taser can incapacitate you. You assault the police, take a taser from the officer, resist arrest, and this is a possible outcome that YOU chose.
There will be an investigation that will examine the facts. However, given that the Mayor already fired the officer it will not satisfy the mob and one wonders how fair this will be or what actions will be taken to placate the mob.
Prayers for these officers and I am sorry they have to go through this horrific experience.
The problem is they will intermingle because sources of cheap labor will always be exploited. I saw a series on Apartheid in South Africa, and how it was originally justified. On paper, it made sense, clearly at the time the blacks and whites had completely different and incompatible cultures, and therefore, it made sense to allow blacks to continue to live as they had. They weren't poor by standards, they were comfortable living their live their way and their culture, nothing wrong with that.
But ulitmately it proved to be false words, because black labor was indeed exploited by the whites. Which basically destroyed the fabric of life in the tradition tribal communities, and led to the problems that became associated with Apartheid.
The longer we bow down to this violence the worse it will get. Minneapolis giving up the police station only made it much worse. Actually NYC allowing cops to have water buckets poured on them was also a catalyst. Give an inch and a yard will be taken.
I agree that some of the policing policies need changed like no knock warrants. But the police need to be treated to the same investigatory process as perps. Now they get fired without due process. Taxpayers in the end will lose and so will all residents.
A cop will do the same thing as any armed citizens would do when a weapon is pointed at them. Point a weapon at any officer expect to get shot.
So.... What i get is blacks were allowed to live separate but whites still had all the jobs? why didnt the blacks just start their own businesses or just not take jobs for whitey?
Curious about the time before the white man arrived in Africa who did the blacks blame for their problems?
I know some police will immediately cuff a suspect for their safety. What’s the point in having a discussion when an experienced officer can easily analyze the threat level and be in control cuffing and then ask simple questions going through the rest of the process.
They migrated for the jobs.

How many people are going to watch the whole thing? How many are going to say they should have let this guy just run away with the taser?
Did the guy “deserve” to die that night? Nope.
Did he act in a way that was 100% responsible for his being shot? Absolutely.
How exactly do these people expect a drunk driving arrest to be made. It was clear to me the driver was not in any condition to be behind the wheel.

Certainly President Trump understands the importance of and to make the most of prime time television. Recent events have provided another opportunity for him to address the nation during prime time.
In order to get the media to provide coverage and provide it from start to finish, the even will need to be a subject they can not resist to cover.
The subject can be an announcement on the use of the military and national guard during the current rioting. The potential for points against Trump will be too much for them not to cover.
But instead of allowing them to score points president Trump should go on offensive driving three major points across to the American public.
First as the prime time event starts you will see President trump and three pastors. President Trump will be kneeling on both knees. You will have a priest a rabbi and a pastor. One of which should be African American. They will all have hands on the President praying over him silently.
The President will then stand up and recite the pledge of allegiance before the American flag.
He will then follow with a short address containing three points to cover. Keeping the press from breaking away coverage is important so the speech must be short and concise.
The first point will be for every event an American flag is raised or honored a short period of prayer and reflection be given asking God for reconciliation and a deeper understanding of what divides our country before the flag is displayed.
The second point will be about funds (in the billions) that will be allocated toward training for police departments throughout the United States on procedures for handling situations such as George Floyd.
The third and final would be notification to the American people of the President’s plan to federalize the national guard if a peaceful solution to domestic terrorist activity can not be found.
The non violent protesters are going on pure emotion and are moved by acts that move these emotions. One of President Trumps line during the campaign was what do you have to lose. At this time many of these people are angry and do not trust any institution since they can not identify why they feel the way the do. Acts of violence by police are only justification for these feelings for them. This is a historic opportunity to shift loyalties if done correctly.
Duh...the Jews.
Maybe they didn't chime in because there aren't any. But maybe there are a lot of Freepers who correctly object to the small percentage of murderous, corrupt, bullying or power hungry cops, or to militarized swat team tactics and no-knock invasions.
Because I've noted that freepers, unlike most people in political discourse today, are capable of keeping two thoughts in their heads at the same time.
Does anyone really think that this will make the insane savages stop burning/stealing/assaulting? Absolutely not. There is a new “normal.” It consists of any and all police actions involving specially-privileged members of victim groups being automatically branded racist.
The goal is to let the street thugs get away with anything they choose to do against Whitey.
