Daddy thought his pals in the DA’s officer could hold the fort and keep his butt out of jail. It didn’t work, the mom and a local activist got the story attention it needed an the GBI took over the investigation and Barnhill was forced to recuse himself for conflicts, even though he wrote himself a nice letter how he wasn’t conflicted a couple months before.
McMichaels deserve the felony murder charge, Byron will probably get a deal where he spends 5 years in prison for his testimony against the McMichaels. Hopefully Barnhill will get prison time as well for covering it up as best as he could for his pal.
