We should be defunding any and all university subsidies and taking away their non-profit designations, not defunding the police.

I went over to the Black Looters Matter web site. Sure enough it has a petition asking to defund the police. They already have the State stealing from the productive to get them free stuff. Guess they just want a little excitement with their looting.
I’m not sure there are enough sane people left in the U.S. to defeat this idiocy. It’s aimed at voters in the Big Blue cities and “educated” upper class liberals, especially women. If sanity does prevail, Trump’s re-election is assured.
Adding up these two percentages comes up to 81%. So 19% have no opinion or have to think it through as to whether defunding police is a good idea
I wonder if a big amount of that 19% undecided I think it’s absurd to think about defunding police, but in this politically correct world are afraid to give the politically incorrect opinion that we should defund the police.

I don’t want to sound like an optimist, but the 65 percent may be an undercount, for the simple reason that normal, conservative folks are ever more reluctant to cooperate with pollsters.

So if NYC and the rest of the super blue municipalities defund the police and replace them with social workers, why do they need no bail laws when there is no one in the courtroom to set no bail for? In cases of a 311 call for rape in progress, is a therapist dispatched to the scene to help predator and victim work out their “relationship issues”? Will criminal defense attorneys have to learn how to code to stay off the unemployment line? Will the next Black Lives Matter placards protesting out of control white racist therapists read “Hands up, don’t analyze”?
Polls tend to over sample democrats. It’s probably a lot lower than that.
