My home town of Wallingford, CT had a small “riot” when the Klan decided to march through. Someone threw a rock at one of them and hit him in the head. The Klan came over because our Republican Mayor (Mayor Dickenson, still there over 30 years) did not want the town employees to get another free holiday (MLK Jr.) without giving one up. The Klan did NOT help Wallingoford, and were MOST unwelcome.

Notice how the rioting doesn't start for two to three days, and then spreads rapidly?

That's because it takes that long for the outside anarchists to organize and then drive to whichever city is caught up in civil unrest.

Nobody with anything to lose goes near them.

Newark NJ still has vacant lots where the savages tore it up 50+ years ago. They tried practically giving lots away a few years ago and got few takers - and most of them gave them back when they realized one of the conditions was they had to build a taxable home on it within a few years. Why go from gubmint housing to taxpayer responsible for maintaining a property?
