Do not miss them. Would not bother me if the pros went away for good.

Yes, of course, especially MLB and BPL.

HELL YES!!!

It crushed my spirit to miss the Masters. And, even worse, the Kentucky Derby.

Personally, I don’t care much about baseball, or the NBA... but, I will miss the US OPEN, and tennis... No Wimbledon?? WTH?

And, if NFL football doesn’t get played, I’m going postal.

To me, professionaly sports are part of the “SEASON” of life. Without it, I feel hopeless.

Me too! But we were on a train with sporadic internet service last year and missed Tiger's Sunday round. So it was fun to watch that!

I am the keeper of the Hockey Ping List and it is quite long.

But I don’t have it broken down into regions or team allegiances.

That could be interesting to see.

Already had big layoffs last week at NFL Films and NFL Network.

About 70% of NFL Films is now gone with the network not far behind.

Yes. And anyone that gleefully says no can go screw. I don’t care about the sports. It’s the economic impact. I don’t care about nor watch NASCAR. But I want Nascar to thrive as it’s good for the economy and America in general. Same with every sport. I occasionally watch football. Never watch the NBA or baseball. But damn we need it thriving!! I don’t go to the Opera or symphony either, but I want them to be sold out too!

I like it. Agree completely. I listen to baseball and hockey and football on the radio while I do other things. I watch college and pro football or golf while playing pool with my friends and relatives in my man cave garage.

I absolutely miss live sports broadcasts. And I'm a bit befuddled by the majority of opinion here that would seem to deny the younger crowd the pleasure of enthusiasm for trivial pursuits.

And obviously considering my vintage at this site you know I'm not all that young, but I'll admit I'm a sports fan and I have no apologies for it.

I don’t follow professional sports. Not any sports, really, but at least I can get the point of being a college sports fan. Pro sports fandom is just sad.

I am not much of a sports fan except for the teams of the college that I work for. However, watching the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux (Hawks) play the University of Maine Black Bears is real treat!

Sounds like you should have restricted this thread to people who actually watch sports.
Lots of chest thumping from people who don’t watch sports.

I watch sports (thumping chest now)... but just the NHL. Yes I miss it.

Yeah, I didn't think about The Golf.

I could watch that, but I'm a golfer.

Only if I’m doing it.
Notice no car commercials with masks.
No pharmakia commercials with masks.
No insurance commercials with masks.

Yes, I miss it a lot. I love listening to baseball on the radio on a Saturday afternoon while doing errands or chores.

Watching a baseball game or whatever sport is in season is a great way to spend a weeknight evening if nothing else is on the schedule.

With nothing different to do from one day to the next it's like Groundhog Day every day.

Yes since I’m not half a fagg I am going to miss football terribly if it doesn’t start. I understand there are many half fags who are very effeminate and like no sports.

Hell yes!

I know it may seem trivial and even a bit selfish, but I'm very glad the golf courses have reopened.

I’ll miss the rear-views of the female divers’ swimsuits. They (the suits) seem to use less material each Olympics, and that’s good for the environment. :-)

This comment was probably uncalled for, but it’s the truth.
