Defiant protesters in the city of Robat Karim south of Tehran took over the city hall, controlled the city, forcing the suppressive police forces to flee. Centers of suppression and plunder in the city, including 12 banks, have been set ablaze by the young protesters.
Protesters in Tehran Pars overturned a police bus and set it on fire. The city hall of Salehiye in Tehran was attacked by insurgent youth. Protesters shouting Death to Bassiji attacked and burnt down the Kosar Pazand Bank, another center for regime plunder. In the southern district of Mallard in Tehran, protesters set fire to another petrol station.
Protesters in Khorramabad attacked the regimes radio and television station in the city and broke all windows. They set several state-owned banks on fire or broke their windows.
Protesters in the major cities of Shiraz and Isfahan have blocked major squares and set up bonfires. Two Bassij (regime paramilitary forces) bases in Khayam Street in Shiraz were set on fire. In Isfahans Shahin Shahr the people chanted, Fear not, we are all together.
Inspired by Hong Kong?
Trump would get the last laugh if..we had a peoples revolution in Iran...
The protesters chanted, Death to Khamenei! and torched a bank in Behbahan.
Who’s side is Allah on?
It would be great if the “resistance” became an “armed resistance”. Too bad that Iran doesn’t have a 2nd amendment.
The sanctions are causing ruinous inflation, food shortages, social and political instability. The Iranian economy is crumbling. What is worse for the mullahs is that they don’t have the hard currency their goons and thugs demand to do their jobs. What is more there is no Obama to send airplanes full of pallets of cash. Man do the mullahs hate Trump.
In BBC’s video it was snowing pretty bad ,LOL
Don’t get excited. 12 banks,a gas station and some broken windows is not regime change. It’s a symptom and we hope it gets MUCH bigger.
I guarantee Soros money is not paying these protestors.
Don’t be too certain. Although, the Iranian theocracy would be suspicious of any outside influence and would shut it down.
I won’t pay much attention to this until we see mass demonstrations in the streets of Tehran.
Odumbo is deeply saddened.
Robat Karim County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 62,937,
You honestly think odungo would give the mullas all that money and Soros would support the opposition. Hardly
They are supposedly unhappy with the rise in gasoline prices. I thought the price of gas in these mid east countries was way less than $1.00/per gal. Any one know?
We can expect an Iranian equivalent of Tianamin Square. Blood and guts in the street.
I think gas is being rationed they..thats the big problem
Direct result of Trump’s actions, look for Iran to be liberated and ValJar indicted.
WOW!! Lets help them overthrow those MULLAHS!
