During the entire speech I kept telling my wife how most young people had never heard any of this history.
I can’t figure out why Schoolhouse Rock is supposed to be shameful. Those cartoons remain an outstanding canon of learning.
My kids and grandkids grew up on Schoolhouse Rock....and for myself I still like Jack Shelton’s “I’m Just A Bill” and play it from time to time........(but don’t tell anyone, lest they take me away)........:)

I thought the speech was similar to the usual Memorial Day salute to the armed forces on Memorial Day on the Mall that I have been watching from childhood. Nothing partisan or political about it, unless one hates America, which it now appears the Democrats do.
Funny how Schoolhouse Rock educated kids better than many universities.
I knew what a conjunction was when I was 4. Most 5th year seniors at a top university likely cant tell you today.

Taught JHS History for 37 years. Always loved Schoolhouse Rock. Would show vhs tapes I would record to the kids, many of whom were immigrants. Found it effective and fun. The Star Wars bar scene that is the Democrat clown car ought to be forced to view the whole of Schoolhouse Rock History and Civics episodes. They might, just might, learn something.
I look at these empty headed idiots and almost feel sorry for them. They have absolutely NO lives..and they are so full of hate..hate for anything American, hate for anything they disagree with..and people wonder why I keep on saying we cannot co-exist with these people..split the country in half, they have their half and we have ours..let’s stop the BS that we can actually get along with these scum
