Trump MAGA flag stirs controversy in The Villages

THE VILLAGES, Fla. (FOX 35 Orlando) - A "Make America Great Again" flag is causing some controversy in a Florida retirement community.
At The Villages, a resident proudly displays the pro-President Donald Trump flag in their yard, right below the American flag. A neighbor, who goes by the name Colonel, says he likes it.
"Mr. Trump is our president. We should be supporting our president. Whomever the president is. I supported the previous president and all the others regardless of party." he said.

That is awesome. We have the lamp posts too....lol. And every Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, 911 Commemoration and Flag Day, they put out little stars and stripes out at each home. It is really cool. I love living in a Patriotic Area. I do wish I lived in the Villages for one reason......golf cart can be driven EVERYWHERE. lol.

I believe it. On Obama’s leaving office, Saturday Night Live projected his image onto a large screen and the crew sang a worshipful “To Sir With Love” to the image on the screen. It was sick-making.

Does it take a village? I’ve never been but I don’t think there is one or more actual village there. Can you walk to the village green? They may be faux villages.

I’ve read too much about homeowners associations that become petty tyrannies. I don’t trust any of them, although I am sure some are worse than others.

How did that happen?
Since I am retired, and therefore not an LEO, I cannot imagine circumstances under which I would enter such a dwelling.

I now do service work and actually kick people out of their home for 8-12 hours.
I have to be polite and respectful of their things, not to comment on what I come across.
We will not do gang banger or drug houses or other homes with illegal activity.
