Get Ready for the Coming Impeachment of Donald J. Trump

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Mueller is “closing in” – on what, no one seems able to say. – Last week was the week when Robert Mueller started “closing in”. That’s what everyone in our fake news media kept telling us, anyway, so it must be true, right? Well…ok.

Supposedly, if all the talking heads on CNN and MSNBC are to be believed – which they most certainly are not – the sentencing memo related to Michael Cohen and the court filing in Mueller’s case against Paul Manafort contain all sorts of damaging allegations related to President Donald Trump. They are, in fake media parlance, the smoking guns that, for the 10,457th time over the last 3 and a half years, spell the “beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”

All this impeachment giddiness had bug-eyed Adam Schiff talking about President trump serving prison time on “Face the Nation” and despicable Jerrold Nadler promising to shut down all investigation into Democrat wrongdoing during 2016 when he takes control of the House Judiciary Committee come January. It was like Democrat Party Mardi Gras all weekend.

The problem for the Democrats is, last week’s events don’t really mean what they want us all to believe they did. The Cohen sentencing memo, filed by the Justice Department’s Southern District of New York (SDNY), is all about campaign finance and playmates and porn stars and hush money supposedly paid to them during the 2016 campaign. The same attorneys in the SDNY who refused to prosecute Barack Obama for more than $2 million in illegal campaign contributions taken in by his 2012 campaign are now supposedly going to indict a sitting president for $280,000 in payments that can only be classified as “campaign contributions” via very tortured legal logic.

The SDNY attorneys face several problems here, chief among them being that Justice Department rules dictate that no sitting president can be indicted while he’s in office. D’oh!

Problem number two is that, even if these hush money payments can be classified as campaign contributions, the Candidate himself has the ability to contribute an unlimited amount of money to his own campaign. The U.S. Attorney suddenly concerned about the “sanctity” of campaign finance rules say he failed to report those “contributions,” which would be a technical violations supposedly committed by a candidate who did not even know they WERE contributions.

You’re going to send a sitting POTUS to jail for that? Really? Good luck with that.

Problem number three is that, if Donald Trump is re-elected to a second term, the 5-year statute of limitations on campaign finance violations will have expired in 2021, 3 years before he leaves office. Now, will the craven Democrats in the House of Representatives try to use the SDNY’s tortured logic as a reason to impeach President Trump? Sure, they will, but in doing so they will have to explain why this is an impeachable offense but Obama’s massive violations were not. Good luck with that, too.

The Manafort filing is just another Big Bag of Mueller Nothing, the kind of which we have seen in myriad leaks and filings and ham sandwich indictments from his office for more than 18 months now. Nothing about the “collusion” fantasy, nothing supporting any potential charge of obstruction of justice, nothing supporting anything remotely related to what Mueller was supposed to be looking into. But it did provide a lot of fodder for talking head panels on CNN and MSNBC to assassinate the President’s character and argue for impeachment, which is exactly what it was intended to do.

There is no doubt that President Trump is a man of low moral character, especially when it comes to his conduct in his married life. There is also no doubt that pretty much everyone who voted for Candidate Trump was well aware of this when they voted for him. After two full years of screaming first about their “Russia Collusion” fantasy and then about their “obstruction of justice” fantasy, the Democrats and our fake news media are going to try to force Mr. Trump from office because he might have, maybe, sort of, potentially violated campaign finance laws to cover up affairs.

Make no mistake about it, there will be impeachment hearings beginning early next year, for the simple reason that the Democrat Party stands for nothing else at the moment. The Party’s candidates did not campaign on any policy agenda this year, other than doing nothing more to change the failed Obamacare law and doing nothing to change our failed immigration system. The Democrats have always been really big on doubling down on abject failure, after all.

So, that’s what the next two years of American history are going to be – a long, painful slog in which the Democrats and their fake news media agents do pretty much nothing but try to reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election. There will be no major legislation passed through congress, which is fine with me, given that about 90% of the un-American legacy of Barack Obama has already been done away with in one form or another.

There will be no real budget bills, as the nation goes back to the decade of Harry Reid, in which the government was funded by an ongoing series of continuing resolutions. There will be no more tax cuts – or significant tax increases – not real efforts to reform immigration or healthcare or climate regulations or anything else at the federal level as the Democrat House and Republican Senate play a 24-month game of policy chicken and do little other than raise money for the 2020 campaign.

At some point – probably mid-to-late-2019 – after a seemingly endless series of nationally-televised impeachment hearings by multiple House committees chaired by despicable creeps like New York’s Jerrold Nadler, the Democrats in the House will successfully “impeach” President Trump in a party line vote. Some time after that, the Republicans in the Senate will refuse to remove the President from office, again on a purely party line vote.

It will be an instant replay of 1999, only with the party roles reversed. Then the election campaigns will gear up and dominate the rest of 2019 and all of 2020, as the voters decide who to punish for the two-year fiasco.

It’s key to remember that, after impeaching Bill Clinton in 1999, the Republican Party paid dearly at the polls in 2000, losing their six-year House majority in the process. With President Trump’s public approval ratings holding stubbornly firm at pretty high levels for a president at this point in his first term in office, the Democrats pursue this impeachment strategy at their own risk.

And pursue it they will. Because they are otherwise bankrupt as a Party.

That is all.

BLOAT plus rope plus national purge and reset. The big question is who will do the purging?

A prediction from the article we can all take to the bank:

The Democrats intend to impeach. The die is cast and it doesn’t matter what Mueller produces or fails to produces. The Democrats will use evidence of overdue library books or parking tickets for double parking in midtown Manhattan to bring forward impeachment charges. They are foaming at the mouth and will be encouraged by their lunatic fringe to attempt to remove Trump. They will fail and they will pay the price at the next election, even with their ballot harvesting secret weapon.

Wish that were true. All the Dems have to do is ask the spineless senators in the GOP to stop. And the they will. Cowards, liars, and turncoats all.

I like Dave Blackmon a lot but I think he’s wrong on this one. If the Dems impeach Trump it will only enrage the GOP base and 2020 will be a landslide congressionally and presidentially.

Schumer & Pelosi and a few others have been trying to tell the rabid Ds to cool it or they will lose in 2020.

When will we impeach Trump? My question is when will we either invade NY or secede it?

California is almost there now, so will be before NY.

What is the phrase. ‘You can indict an ham sandwich?’

Is that it? That’s how the desperation of the dems look here.

Its the House’s responsibility to impeach or not,
Its the Senate’s responsibility to decide whether the impeachment warrants removal.

In this case it certainly does not!

The Rat goal anyway is not removal. (Though they’ll of course take if it falls in their lap!) Their goal is to draw an equivalency to Slick. Tar Trump with the same scarlet “I” that Slick is tarred with. So they can argue Slick’s corruption is the same as Trumps. Its all symbolism over substance but its the PR value is what they want. Their base will accept the PR as a major victory. In Hellary’s mind this will move here on step closer to the presidency. I guarantee she thinks one of the main reasons she lost is the Slick Impeachment albatross hanging around her neck. In her mind this negates it!

If, as we are to believe from the howls of the jackal media, that Trump has committed crimes too numerous to count, that there is absolute evidence from numerous witnesses, emails and documents that he has committed these crimes and that everyone in American but the knuckle dragging deplorables loath the very sight of Trump, then when the new House convenes articles of impeachment should be passed in days if not hours. As we have seen from the Kavanaugh hearing there is no need for investigations or corroboration of witness testimony even if the accusations are decades old and lack confirmation from anybody. According to the liberal media and their lackies Trump is certainly guilty of crimes, stole the election with Russian collusion and is universally loathed...more reasons why he should be removed from office. We are told Trump’s articles of impeachment will cause dancing in the streets and celebrations across the country that we haven’t seen since VE Day and the surrender of Japan and his removal from office will be a national holiday complete with parades and fireworks. Given such universal hatred of Trump by the people and the overwhelming evidence of Trump’s crimes, Senate Republicans will just have to quickly pass the impeachment and remove him from office... the process should take days if not hours. Trump should be marched from the White House in chains directly to the nearest federal court house for immediate trial for his manifest crimes and be executed in a fortnight

Trump needs to do a tv speech explaining that Mueller has only found the clintons and obama committing treason with the selling of our uranium to the Russians who sold it to the Iranians who have stated they will kill all the people of Israel. He can start by explaining the fake dossier that clinton paid for and the people involved in the FBI and the judges on the FISA court who started this witch hunt.

But all he does is tweet. What is he afraid of?
