Et tu Tucker?

If viewers want to see a host engaged in Trump bashing, there are dozens of other outlets they can watch

Any American who follows the news coverage of President Trump knows that the mainstream media is completely opposed to him. Their coverage of his administration is biased, relentlessly negative and needlessly nasty. These haters could not even take a break from their Trump bashing during the funeral of former President George H. W. Bush. Liberal activists, masquerading as journalists on MSNBC and CNN, criticized the President for such trivia as folding his arms during the service and not singing from the hymnal like the other former Presidents. This pettiness is typical from a media that is afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

We especially like Graham Ledger and Liz Wheeler. Liz’s show beats any ever on Fox.

I suspect his wife probably gave him an ultimatum. In fear of further AntiFa tactics, he folded.

Nothing substantive yet seems to have been accomplished other than changing the terms of the debate. I don’t hear any democraps spewing about the need for “comprehensive immigration reform” anymore. The judiciary continues to work against him. GOPe is doing nothing, to quietly undermining any effort on fixing the problem. The GOPe for 6 years used repeal Obamacare as a fundraiser/campaign issue. Then with 3 branches of govt and Trump very publicly encouraging them to send him the repeal bill...big fat zero. Now to expect anything better with immigration - didn’t happen with this Congress, won’t happen with the next.

Trump has been trying to enforce the laws as written, something the previous 3 administrations did not do, with the last one actively promoting illegal immigration. Trump has taken on DACA and pushed it to Congress, which is satisfied that it is all bogged down in the judiciary. Trump touched the 4th rail on “anchor babies”; perhaps making the stakes bigger as the issue continues forward. Trump told the caravan they are not coming into the country illegally. Trump wants to get a question in the census on whether one is a legal citizen or not (which will help among other things show how many illegals we really have) and that too is tied up in the courts.

The issue has been teed up ... it is not going away and will be the issue in the 2020 election. Trump is carrying it to the nation. If the open borders party and GOPe sympathizers win then, things will continue downward for this country, and how the issue is resolved will be more difficult.

Yes, I wish Trump used some different tactics especially using leverage in the budget process (especially the one where the democraps claimed victory) in the budget process to get the wall built. Let’s see if he has learned anything from his DC experience. At the end of the day, I would rather have him in the office than the corrupt HRC alternative. Measured against her, he has accomplished a lot on this issue, not to get it enshrined in law is the next challenge for him.

Trump has tried everything outside the box to stop the flow but at every turn you have some Obama appointed federal judge deciding he has more power to stop this or that than President Trump who is a duly elected President.

Everything???? Hardly. He has our finest military down there pulling mop up for the BP. Completely backwards. Our military needs to be in front and weapons cocked, locked and pointed South.

AND the black robed thugs can pound sand. Let them drive down there in their Ubers and stand in front of the military when they have orders to fire.

Now, that is 8D chess.

Tucker is driving to the middle just in case Trump goes down. He’s typical of a guy you wouldn’t want on your side in a fight.

Remember that FOX News has changed hands, and is now under the management of one of Murdoch’s far more liberal sons, James, who hopes to turn it into another CNN. So maybe Tucker Carlson is feeling the heat, that if he doesn’t “liberal it down” he might end up like his predecessor Bill O’Reilly.

The proof of this will be if conservatives like Sean Hannity, Judge Jeanine Pirro and Jessie Watters are sacked by James. Followed by the sacking of their more objective ones like Shannon Bream; while elevating that anti-Trump tool Shepard Smith.

Apparently James Murdoch is a big believer in MMGW and other bogus internationalist b.s.

But, on the plus side, if FOX News drinks the Flavor-Aid, so all the media are knee-jerk leftists, then maybe it will finally force the Republicans to initiate antitrust actions against the giant media companies.

only something like a brain tumor could explain the impulse to criticize him the way you do here.

The #1 threat is the open borders and PDJT campaigned on building a beautiful wall, with a beautiful door in it AND Mexico will pay for it (LOL).

Now Poolazi is using this "campaign promise" against him saying that Congress will not fund it because PDJT said Mexico was going to pay for it.

I say to hell with the wall, up the size of the military, put them up front with ROEs to kill the bastards.

“....not to get it enshrined in law is the next challenge for him.”

Should have been written as “how to get it enshrined in law is the next challenge for him” so the next President can’t just issue executive and regulatory agency rulings.

Now to the thread topic of Tucker Carson, ... Tucker does come out strongly against illegal immigration, ... but he should qualify his disappointment with Trump on this issue recognizing the political realities with the GOPe, the other branches of government. Tucker should be asked what he would do if he were the President. I think we might also have the opportunity to be disappointed in his response.

Tucker needs an education on how the three branches of our federal government work (civics).

Carlson's entire point is that it's Pres. Trump who needs the lesson on how government works, and how you can't premise your campaign on building a border wall and then sit back and not work the levers of government to get it done.

But a Democrat majority House is not a lever of government for a conservative Republican President, and the House has most of the control over funding and appropriations of funding.

I’ll rephrase that.

But a Democrat majority House is not a lever of government for a conservative Republican President, and the House has more control over funding and appropriations of funding than the Senate.

Worse yet, the Lawyer Party (renegades in the Judicial) has more control over government than in the past, including national security matters. The situation is looking like an attempted slow coup being perpetrated over a couple of generations. And now, they’re challenging the authority and independence of the Executive branch with threats against the President with what America clearly sees as a pack of lies as excuses.

America’s ex-wife lost, and her fans will get over it now or by their present progress towards expiring from natural causes related to age and social diseases.

But a Democrat majority House is not a lever of government for a conservative Republican President...

Which is the crux of Carlson's lament...that Pres. Trump has squandered the best opportunity to get the border wall funding via a GOP majority, and that his inability to master the inner workings of government is the reason.

Now the border wall funding faces a much more difficult path with even less chance of success, despite it being a core part of Trump's 2016 campaign.

Its fair criticism.

“Its fair criticism”

Yes and Coulter has been harping on the same thing.

It’s the plaintive nagging of friends, not enemies. They are asking him to focus.

But the effect of the Mueller Coup attempt has been to stymie the implementation of the President’s agenda. Look at the damage done by the garbage who implemented that and continue to push it.

The Mueller coup was a hail mary by the gangster state. Trump should be just as audacious and stop toeing their line. Use the military or rededicate other DHS funding to build real segments of a wall and let them throw a fit. What are they gonna do, send bulldozers to knock it down?
