Read the post and think about it. If there was another "female classmate" at this party and Whelan knows how far away her home is, then he knows exactly who this person -- who has never been named in any report about the allegation -- is.

Does anyone believe a long-time Beltway political/legal figure like Whelan went through all this nonsense and slandered the reputation of a law-abiding citizen in that group just to post a heartfelt apology?
