The husband and wife team of Imran and Hina Alvi Awan will be pleading guilty to federal charges, according to new court documents.
After 11 months of unexplained court delays.
But few know exactly to what federal charges at this time.
The duo, indicted for bank fraud, are expected in federal court on July 3 for a plea hearing.
Sentencing would normally follow about 90 days after they attest to the plea agreement in court.

Chutkan, who is presiding over the Imran Awan and Hina Alvi fraud case, was appointed to the federal bench by Obama after she kicked thousands in campaign donations to his presidential campaign when he was a U.S. Senator in Illinois, records confirm.
Obama also appointed Chutkan’s husband, Peter Krauthamer, a judge to the bench in the District of Columbia Superior Court in 2011.
Krauthamer’s mother, and Chutkan’s mother-in-law, also contributed campaign cash to Obama, records confirm.

Oh, who knows as far as that is concerned. My issue was with the author being utterly clueless about procedure in federal criminal court. Sure, these, idiots may get off easy, but it has nothing to do with “delays” or “continuances”. That is common practice. The author is just trying to stir up emotion over meaningless garbage, which really takes away the credibility, IMO.
More to the point, after the bank fraud case, I’m hoping this spy ring wil be investigated thoroughly. The damage they have done to our country is unimaginable. I believe at least one member of the Gang of Eight allowed these agents of a foreign government access to their computer.
Sessions let it slip through because pot wasn’t involved. Had they been hitting a bong while they were stealing secrets from the House servers, boy would they be in trouble with him.
