The English nationalist anti-Muslim activist Tommy Robinson (founder of the English Defence League) was standing outside a courthouse where British Muslims were being tried on sex abuse (grooming) charges yesterday in Leeds.
He was chatting with friends and fellow activists. He confronted two of the defendants shouting "How do you feel about the verdict?' as they entered the courthouse an hour before his arrest.
When the police surrounded him to take him away they said Robinson was in "breach of the peace".
He was taken into court and ordered jailed for 13 months.
In addition, media in the UK were prohibited from reporting the news of his jail sentence.
Some news stories about Tommy Robinson's arrest published early on yesterday in the UK were blocked from reading later on.

Canadian libertarian activist Ezra Levant posted a video about what happened including video of Robinson's arrest.
A protest against Robinson's arrest is scheduled at 3pm today UK time (10am Eastern US) in London at Whitehall (the government section of the city).

The UK government is truly fascist. In 10 years what’s left of the Jewish population will flee to America or Israel for safety (a similar phenomenon is taking place in France). The country that developed the concepts of Habeus Corpus, presumption of innocence, a fair trial, guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and the rule of law, is now run by women and men wilfully surrendering the country to the Muslim hordes. It is going viral—in alt-media. Not so much in the mainstream media, or even in conservative media. This is one reason I've abandoned talk radio.
The dirty little secret is that for its entire existence England has been a tyranny. It had a brief decade or two of relative freedom after World War I, ending a couple of years after World War II. But tyranny has been the default condition of that Nation.
Time to cut off all aid to the UK and EU. They have become an enemy of all freedom lovers everywhere. It is time we stop subsidizing evil.
