Nashville - Pancake Pantry for breakfast. Bluebird Cafe in the evening for music (lots of famous musicians have played there), Opry Mills Mall (next to Opryland). My kid is a Vanderbilt graduate, so I’ve been to Nashville quite a bit.
The Station Inn in N’ville is excellent too for live bluegrass and pitchers of beer.
I’m old enough to remember when Nashville’s Pancake Pantry was being picketed in the late 60s because they didn’t serve filthy hippies.
