Marjory Stoneman Douglas student and #NeverAgain activist David Hogg told Axios founder Mike Allen at an event in Washington on Friday that his high school feels "like a prison" since the shooting last month, with "hundreds of police officers" patrolling the campus.
He said this is a problem because the police are racist against black students: "What I'm very concerned about is the racial disparity between white and black students. For example, black students get suspended at a rate three times higher than white students."

I hope he grows and learns as he becomes an adult. I would be quite surprised if there aren’t students who are put off my his penchant for the limelight. The school went through a horrible tragedy, parents lost their children, and what he’s doing is lacking in reverence - including his recent use of profanity. There’s a clear lack of maturity and thoughtfulness, and those who love him should point this out to him.
“This kid is drunk on fame...........”
Captain Obvious, please pick up the White courtesy phone....
The crash should be quite entertaining.
This clown is like Joe Biden. No one ever heard him say one smart thing.
Were lucky this little punk is as obnoxious as he is the more he talks the worse he comes off.
The creepy little fool asks for “more government” and doesn’t like it when he gets it. I think that the tapeworms that are making him so sickly and skinny have also invaded his tiny brain.
Well, he demanded a safer campus. Ask and you shall receive, Hogg.
I bet he’ll wish he had a gun when a few Trayvons decide he’d be an easy mark with all of that CNN cash in his pocket
.
“Let this guy keep talking and swearing. Hes becoming a gift to the right.”
You so right. Hogg is an embarrassing little shit.

Keep me pinged please. Thanks.
His handlers are having him do his on purpose in order to try to exonerate themselves for their part in enabling the shooter. Broward county schools has had a policy to not discipline problem kids, especially black kids, because it makes the county look bad to have all of these problem kids. This is purely a strategy to look good on paper without fixing the problem.
This is the same county where wonderful Travon Martin was caught with other people's jewelry and burglary tools in his backpack, yet the police did nothing. Result: Travon felt he was invincible, and ended up dead because he wasn't.
This shooter Cruz was known and let go by law enforcement, because of Broward county school policies.
He said this is a problem because the police are racist against black students: "What I'm very concerned about is the racial disparity between white and black students. For example, black students get suspended at a rate three times higher than white students."
He is now arguing that the policy that enabled the shooter be kept in force at the school.
Poor little boy Hogg, they took his scary assault backpack away.
Enjoy your extra dose of “more government” Hogg!
Will this repulsive little turd ever shut up? It’s like he’s been coached in leftist talking points his entire life; he’s a compete, programmed zombie. A spooky little freak.
Oh how I hope some black kid gets tired of his bullshit and beats the crap out of the little sissy boy
I wonder how snowflake Hogg will react when his “prison wallet” is cavity searched every day for weapons and drugs by his lefty heroes and betters?
Has anyone ever conclusively came up with how old this guy really is and is he actually a student at the school????
Did an Obama-Era School Discipline Policy Contribute to the Parkland Shooting?
Sen. Marco Rubio, the Florida Republican who has found himself in the maelstrom of federal and state debates over school safety and gun control, says an Obama-era civil rights law may have contributed to the massacre at a high school in his state last month, where a former student fatally shot 17 children and adults.
At issue is a "Dear Colleague" letter and guidance from the previous administration, issued in 2014, which aimed to stem the school-to-prison pipeline by prodding schools to reduce the number of suspensions and expulsions, especially for students of color and students with disabilities, both of whom receive disciplinary actions at disproportionately high rates.
According to the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, among the 2.6 million students suspended each year, black boys are three times more like than white boys to be suspended, black girls are six times more likely than white girls to be suspended, and students with disabilities are more than twice as likely as their peers to be suspended.
Yeah, Obama was trying to get schools to discipline a white student for every black disciplined in the name of diversity.
