Industrialization, low birth rate. The trends are all there. Meanwhile 3rd world nations have a high birth rate, particularly Muslim nations. When children are a poor persons wealth you will have many. It was not too long ago when farming communities had 10 children on the farm hoping half of them lived. Longer lives are now guaranteed and one doesn't need to work as hard. Can we continue to grow without a higher birth rate as well as live with Islam?

I disagree. This country still had good to very good public schools in the 60s and [most of] 70s. The majority of this country’s education system was taken over by the far-left in the late 1970s (the current federal department of education was created in 1979 and began operations in 1980).
Over the next 3+ decades most of our country’s schools were systematically converted in to marxist/socialist indoctrination centers. Without a huge and painful change in direction, we will not bounce back from that.
The Great Republic, aka the USA, is seemingly doing its dead level best to commit suicide. We're embracing all of the stupid SJW nonsense, we're Balkanizing into different groups, though maybe not by choice.
Basic God given rights are being tossed aside in favor of man-made desires.

Excellent observation
Think on this...right now half the kindergarten age kids in France are Muslim. That means in 20 years or so half of all the people in France will be Muslim, not counting further influx of invaders. The situation is similar in other parts of Europe. Nothing like that was happening in the 60s and 70s.
The 60s and 70s were the lead up to now.
The whole world is dying. Jesus is the only hope.
