It is the media and the democrats that keep suggesting that Trump will shut down the investigation. This is by design. They know the real investigations against the FBI, hiLIARY and Obama will be coming soon. They will call the investigations witch hunts and accuse Trump and his supporters of hypocrisy for wanting them to continue.

Calling for a hearing is not the same as calling for impeachment. Fake news, indeed.

The hearing is for firing McCabe. The impeachment threat would be if Mueller gets fired.
The executive branch is under no requirement to investigate itself and if it chooses to do so then it is no concern of congress’s how and under what circumstances it does so. If congress wants to investigate the executive branch it can do so. To impeach the President for not doing the duty of congress is absurd.
He’s still pissed that Trump gave out his cell phone number.
