Back when i coached hs baseball, I looked forward to the change. 4:30 games finished in daylight, saved taxpayer $ not using the lights.

I go to bed when I’m sleepy, and wake up whenever. After having a day job, my own company when I could tell people I had a morning job and couldn’t be there until ten (BS) and gigging 6 nights a week from 8pm until 2am. I survived!

A wise old Indian. There is no “daylight saving”. All you’re doing is gettingg up an hour earlier. You don’t have to change the clocks, just get up an hour earlier.

On the other hand, people are getting up an hour earlier, still drowsy, and then getting in the car to go to work when it is still dark. Proven correlation between DST and accident upticks each year, which means injury and death because the government thinks it can control time.

Just keep it here and be done with it.

I've not understood people who like "falling back" in November to standard time.

Just keep it DST ALL YEAR ROUND.

All of us will adjust.

I see no downside to all year DST.

The government took away an hour of our weekend and yet many folks seem to think they got an extra hour a day.

People also petitioned for prohibition. We’re not a democracy. And I’m pretty sure they didn’t appeal for Carter to make it 2 hours, or Bush II to add a couple of weeks at either end. It’s a matter of control.
