Agreed 00%. 6:30 in Chicago its still light enough to do some stuff outside
It changes the position of the hands on your clock. Has no bearing on how much daylight is in a day.
So y’all like daylight saving time?
I have a bridge you’ll just love!
And I’ll sell it to YOU, and only you, at a substantial loss to myself.
Whats not to love!
I need light too.
That lack of sunlight during the winter always depresses me some.
Today’s extra bit of daylight helped me feel more motivated.
I got the Bilstein shocks on the CJ7 and the metal axle snubbed mounts off. My K5 blazer heater box is about ready to be reassembled.
Im with you, as corrected. Its one of those things, like my plaintive cry that there is no such holiday as Presidents Day* thats not swimming against the tide, its swimming against the tsunami.
* still identified in federal law and here in California by state law, as George Washingtons Birthday. I prefer its real name honoring a person deserving of honor as opposed to the bastardization that arose from an off-handed remark by Richard Nixon.
Daylight savings time is a delusion. The day has a certain number of hours and a certain number of dark. Just because you can go play golf or whatever doesnt change that
And we wonder how people think they can just decide their gender or race or whatever
I like the extra hour of light in the evening, but I wish they would give us an extra hour of light in the morning.
That shouldn’t be too hard. Congress can make that happen.
Even if its artificial, I like the extra hour of daylight!
Actually it was the people who petitioned the government to put in place DST. Didn’t you see my posters from 1918! The people demanded it and the government was forced to comply with the will of the people. As it should be.
I’m glad that Arizona doesn’t do Daylight Saving time (except on the Res). By the end of a summer day, I just want the sun to go away, the sooner the better.
Its not an extra hour
Are you going to the Flat Earth gathering
The loss of morning light is a negative.
Copying that.
When is it? I will make some scallops wrapped in bacon to have as appetizers.
Why not run the calendar up by a month? Wouldn’t that make you feel even better???
Today was a day that I really needed that lost hour.
Wrong Sam
I proposed before that we set the clocks ahead or behind 10 minutes per month. We switch directions in April and October. That would be even better I think. Make for a smoother transition as we are only decreasing or increasing daylight 10 minutes at a time.
That Indian must have lived on the Equator. I like the sun coming up at a reasonable hour in the morning and the longer summer nights.
