What do you think about this, LS? At this point I trust NO news articles; cherry picking is the least of it. If Mattis actually said this, I am hoping that they will find that transpervs can't be deployed overseas...

I see Fox references the WaPo (a much longer and more detailed article) which I trust less than I trust my cat's litter box; plus there is this sentence in the Fox article which might create an out: "oh no, the poor transpervs can't deploy overseas for 12 months", at least I hope so.
