The Civilian population.

I believe we will have to make that choice in our lifetime. It’s not just are we willing to die, but the other aspect...much tougher for me is are we willing to kill For freedom?
I just don’t know the answer to that personally...

I don't own guns, don't plan to own guns, but my answer to that question is, "Hell, yes!"
History has shown what the citizens giving up their rights to defend themselves leads to.
Actually, in those days the majority of the biggest arms were owned by civilians. Cannon and warships were primarily owned by shipping companies. Even in England, civvie companies had cannon to defend against pirates and Muslim raiders.
