[Where is CPS when they were really needed?
That boy should have been in a locked, supervised facility years ago!]

Very true. But in the state of Washington they closed most of the state mental institutions to “save money.” A couple of years ago a guy living within a couple of miles of a closed facility killed six people, had a trial, was convicted, and we moved out of the state before I found out what happened.

The state of Oregon, where we moved, has closed the state mental hospital. Politics and saving money again. Now you can go downtown in Salem, the state capital, and see smelly, drug addicted people, and their sleeping bags on the sidewalks.

Last fall I was downtown and crossing the street. On my left side was a very unhappy elderly lady avoiding a couple of cups of fresh puke, and had to step away from it quite widely.

Pretty soon Salem, OR will smell like Seattle and San Fran. And I resent it. I hate letting the perverts and politically correct rule the day.
