Nobody ever seems to play it anymore.
Christmas music very important.
I play it.
The people who wrote it died. The people who could perform it decently died.
Turn on terrestrial radio. It’s on nonstop.
102.3 WSUS in NJ has been playing Christmas music non-stop for a month now.
I’m hearing more of it this year than in the last few years.
A common way of hearing Christmas Music used to be on the AM Radio stations. Now, there are far fewer AM stations, terrestrial Am, that is. If you go online, it may be a different story, but you have to hunt and peck around for it.
I’m hearing more radio commercials actually say the word ‘Christmas’ this year too.
I LOVE Christmas music and search the local stations to listen to it.
I just found one station that apparently just plays old music from years ago. During December every other song is a nice Christmas carol or song. No ‘I saw mama kissing Santa” stuff, but carols and songs by Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Perry Como and those types of older singers.
Here is a nice song:

Just listening to this: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Christmas+Songs+Playlist+YouTube&&view=detail&mid=2589F48419F90EDC6C5F2589F48419F90EDC6C5F&FORM=VRDGAR
Enjoy Kenny G. I keep the volume low as seasonal background music.
Have you noticed that most of this year’s Christmas tv ads are NOT using Christigmas music? Classical rock instead. I hate that!
Do you play piano or accompany singers?
I think of Ave Maria, by Schubert and O’Holy Night (by ?)
as two of my favorite classical ones.
Stevie Wonder’s Someday At Christmas is very thoughtful, and one of my favorite pop tunes for this season.
I’m sick of Feliz Navidad. I recall when it came out in the early 70’s.
Jim Croce would have loved President Trump.
The sing-songy secular crap I dislike.
the ultra somber religious stuff I absolutely treasure.
Vienna Boys Choir = AAA++
its purposeful...they're stealing our culture let alone our religious holidays...
It gets played. It’s just that no one seems to know how to make it anymore.
Here’s something to listen to. A 10 year old Autistic girl with ADHD singing what would be difficult for even trained adult singers. This is The Killard House Special School Choir. It’s really worth hearing http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Killard+House+School+Choir+in+Donaghadee%2c+Ireland&view=detail&mid=2275376C139AFC5395442275376C139AFC539544&FORM=VIRE
