I heard this on the Phil Valentine show. A listener sent it to him as a suggested new slogan for the Republications. I thought it was perfect, so I'm posting it here as a vanity to see if it will catch on.
"If you like your money, you can keep your money."
I think I’ll put this money in my own personal lockbox
And theres nothing stopping Democrats from volunteering taxes if they want taxes so badly.
Democrats Are Legally 'Free to Pay More' to Government If They Don't Like Tax Cuts....
But lets keep in mind that ultimate simplified tax code will not only be one that is fully compliant with Congresss constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, but will also repeal the 16th and ill-Conceived 17th Amendments.
Consider that repealing 16th and 17th Amendments will also effectively secede all the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government. (Are you listening Gov. Brown?)
The states can also expressly constitutionally delegate new powers to the feds if necessary.
I like it, a lot!
{;-)
Like I said, I borrowed it myself—So go ahead.
No, I’m saying there’s a clear difference between Trump and Obama.
And there you have it!! Good job.
Thank you.
Oh, I completely understand what your intent is, but paraphrasing Obama's biggest lie does the exact opposite of what you want.
"If you like your _____, you can keep your _____." = Big Lie.
Had obama kept his promise --if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor--then this would be a great slogan for Republicans --if you like your money, you can keep your money. But unfortunately, these words remind everybody of a lie. And it was an unacknowledged lie. The democrats never acknowledged that it was a lie. Obamacare was more than just one lie. It was all a lie. The author of Obamacare admitted it on YouTube. Let's not compare our TAX CUT to their tax hike which was sold as a HEALTHCARE plan.
