That Sad Moment When You Realize The FBI Is As Fake As The Fake News Media
DB Daily Update ^ | 12.12.2017 | David Blackmon

Posted on 12/12/2017 4:51:04 AM PST by EyesOfTX

Late on Monday, we learned that the Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, had suddenly and without real explanation cancelled his long-scheduled appearance to testify before the House Intelligence Committee today. Fox News reporter Chad Pergram tweeted Monday night that “congressional sources” told him that a subpoena would likely be issued to try to compel his appearance. That’s fairly ironic, since it took a threatened subpoena in early November to convince McCabe to agree to testify in the first place.

Pergram further reported that his sources believe McCabe cancelled his appearance due to a concern that he would be questioned about Justice Department muckety-muck Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie, who we learned worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016. Ohr, of course, was recently “reassigned”, i.e., marginalized within the DOJ when it was learned that he held meetings with Fusion GPS – the firm that was hired by the Clinton Campaign and the DNC to collude with Russian officials to compile the fake Trump Dossier – throughout the 2016 election campaign.

So, because he was “concerned” that he might be forced to answer questions he obviously does not want to answer, McCabe apparently chose what has apparently become FBI standard policy in 2017, which is to join the agency’s ever-growing stonewalling of any testimony or records production that might reveal the truth about what senior officials at the FBI and the DOJ were up to during the 2016 election cycle.

How is any American supposed to have confidence in a “law-enforcement” agency whose obvious working policy is to blatantly and repeatedly stonewall efforts by others to discover if laws were violated? It’s an absurd expectation that will only be complied with by those who have been brainwashed to believe anything their government tells them to believe.

“.... If the FBI acted unethically”............

You can drop the word “IF” and anyone that has been awake for the past year would agree with you. Unethical seems to be the norm in every Federal government department. Trump needs to assign a team to get those crooks out once and for all.

After Comey and Mueller, this son of a bitch is the first guy I want in jail and disgraced. He is nothing but a political hack who happens to have got in the position very high in the FBI. He has no integrity and no fidelity to any kind of principles that we expect out of objective law enforcement officials.

The swell of public opinion against the FBI will hit critical mass.

At that point, Trump acts.

“It’s disgusting to see that Obama’s FBI is still trying to work with the commie ‘RATS to overthrow the President.”.......

If truth be known, it’s quite likely MANY who are working against Trump have a lot to lose besides their jobs. I feel badly for those who are “honest” and still work within the FBI, no doubt there are a few.

One thing that I believe every American should be aware of and thinking about on an almost constant basis, is the fact that this is how the Federal government acts, and how it treats us, when the civilian population has 400 million guns. Now think about what they would do if the civilian population was disarmed, as the Democrats, statists and other assorted Communists desire with all of their heart.

This is why you don't 'threaten'. Just do it. Did Mueller threaten Manafort with a subpoena?

Time to play for real, boys. Don't give them time to destroy evidence or meet with other members of the 'Deep State' to get their stories straight. Haul his damned butt in there, put him under oath and see what he has to say.

The FBI never lived up to it's PR. J. Edgar Hoover was a cross dressing homo who was also the world's foremost blackmailer. He used the power of the FBI to run a very profitable extortion ring, securing his personal power base for as long as he desired.

The FBI has always been corrupt and morally bankrupt, willing to abuse it's authority to advance it's own agenda. It's just that we were able to pretend things were otherwise until now. Now their corruption is public knowledge.

The FBI is turning itself into a real live Secret Police and the administration is allowing it. Congress is losing its effectiveness in big chunks every time a federal official refuses to testifies and/or defies a subpoena with no consequence..

Agree. All my life I’ve always thought that the FBI would keep this country straight and on the up and up. Not anymore. Barack HUSSEIN Obama ended that. It’s now just another commie ‘RAT political weapon to be used against the American people. Breaks my heart.

Mccabe would not be the first to defy a Congressional subpoena in this administration. Subpoenas to Federal officials are of no more stature than emailed invitations.

Obama’s legacy may be incurable corruption of every branch of the federal government, ultimately creating one political party with absolute power.

So, what’s the Sargeant-at-Arms good for? Just hauling up hungover members from motel rooms for quorum counts?

It would be interesting to have been a fly on the wall when McCabe had the discussion with the DOJ and the others at the FBI... whose idea was it really that McCabe better not be testifying today?
