These photos give a whole new meaning to the term 'shotgun wedding'. A shocking internet gallery shows fans of the second amendment proudly brandishing their weapons on their big day. Thanks———I was totally unfamiliar with the term-——and the food sounds absolutely delicious.

An out-door cookout. Traditional to Eastern North Carolina. Instead of the meat being pulled off the pig, or, otherwise prepared, you just us a fork and pull off the meat you wish.

Western North Carolina, too.

Maybe all over the South.

I’m all for guns in wedding pics, before the booze is served. But there was some terrible muzzle discipline in some of those pics. Also, to the writer, that’s not an assault rifle. It’s a machine gun. Idiot.

If done correctly, it’s wonderful, though a little weird having your food look back at you.

I have never run into a pig-picking in Georgia or South Carolina.

Looks like some of the couples have watched too many movies and tv shows as they are holding pistols sideways.
Sometimes I wonder if Spike Lee unwittingly performed a public service by glamorizing the sideways shooting style in his gangsta flicks? I can't imagine even John Wayne, Annie Oakley, Roy Rodgers, Dirty Harry, etc. hitting the broad side of a barn if they used that shooting method.

Not sure what you mean by your comment; however, I am entitled to my opinion like everyone else here. IN MY OPINION, I think it is trashy to take a picture of yourself sitting on a toilet. You go ahead and have a nice day.
