Donald Trump would not win the presidential election if it were held today because of the numerous sexual allegations against him and the “Me Too” movement that has swept the country in recent weeks, Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier said Sunday.
More than a dozen women came forward during last year’s presidential campaign to accuse Trump of sexual assault or harassment. He was also caught on an infamous “Access Hollywood” recording bragging about sexually assaulting women. Yet, just weeks later, he was elected president following a victory over Hillary Clinton. However, in the wake of a wave of women coming forward across almost every industry with accusations of sexual misconduct, Speier said that the result would now be different.
“If the president was running today, I bet he would not be elected because I think we have had a huge cultural shift that is 40 years in the making,” the California representative CBS’ Face the Nation. “But I think all of us are grateful now that there is a new day for women in the workplace where they do not have to put up with sexual advances that are unwanted, that they do not have to live and work in a hostile environment and that’s going to be good for all of us in the workplace.”(continued)

Also, I think they somehow they think it's going to help with the woman vote? When they're all dems? How they're going to spin it in 2018 is anyone's guess as 80-90% or more of this behavior belongs with the dems, hollywood, celebs, you know, the Godless people.

It’s not a political strategy. It’s a leftwing holier than thou spiral they kicked off by not accepting the election results. Everyones trying to be more left wing than everyone else all the time, which is pushing them into insane actions. People like Pelosi have been trying to put the breaks on it for months, but no one is listening.
Oh...Those sad sack Democrats, I could have, I should have, but, you didn’t!!! That says it all. In fact, if it were not for Democrat massive voting fraud, POTUS, Donald J. Trump would have carried and won, New Hampshire, Nevada, Minnesota, Colorado, and a few more states to boot, turning his landslide victory into a full blown political slaughter!!!

Guilt by accusation is still not a thing here. It’s not working in Alabama, and wouldn’t with Trump. Need credible proof still.
Politics doesn’t work in a vacuum either. True, you’ve got a sexual predator witch hunt going on now...but you also have millions of NeverTrumpers now actually understanding that Trump governs as a conservative, not a George Bush or Jeff Flake ‘conservative’, but as a REAGAN CONSERVATIVE. Once people understood that about Reagan, he won re-election by something like 20 points.
Remember....They didn’t run Hillary in 2004 because there were still too many people who remembered “I did not have sexual relations with that woman....Monica Lewinsky”.

My understanding is that Trump said something like "Rich and powerful men [like Harvy Weinstein]([my comment]) can do such and such.." not that "I did such and such". .

The left is getting crazier. I think a lot of it is they are in panic mode as their usual game plan isn’t working. Let’s hope they’re in a death spiral. If only our youth realized it.
Good to know the narrative they’re using. They’ll go this route in midterms then heavy on it in ‘20. Won’t work, though, because, unlike before, we have a Republican President who fights back.
