LVMPD audio: ‘There are at least two shooters with fully-automatic weapons’ Posted on October 5, 2017 by Shepard Ambellas Leaked LVMPD audio reveals how the mainstream media is hiding crucial details about last Sunday’s shooting at the Route 91 music festival in Las Vegas

(INTELLIHUB) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department audio captured during last Sunday’s active shooting at Mandalay Bayresort and casino reveals how officers confirmed that there were at least two shooters firing down onto the crowd of concertgoers attending the Route 91 music festival.

After a series of fully-automatic gunfire popped off and people started getting struck by flying rounds a team of law enforcement officers and another ‘element’ stormed the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay it was feared that there was an additional shooter on the 29th floor.

“We have a four-man team up here and we have another element moving to us. We will need the 29th floor,” one officer said. “It sounds like it’s confirmed, there are at least two shooters with fully-automatic weapons.”

Additionally, the audio recordings also reveal that a black Chevy dually pickup truck fled the parking lot during all of the commotions and that an older white male who was wearing fatigues and carrying a black bag was spotted retreating into a white RV by the Tropicana and the Motel 6. Pedestrians said that the man came from the area of the shooting.

Pedestrians said that the man came from the area of the shooting and a team eventually converged on the white RV.

At one point, a police car was commandeered by an unknown suspect while the two elements on the 32nd floor were cleared for 335 Zebra’s approach to the northernmost room. READ MORE Forensic Psychiatrist Suggests Gunman May Have Deliberately Targeted Conservatives

“This is 335 Zebra. I need to know if we have that floor evacuated other than our suspects. We got […] sniper going up,” a voice called out over the radio.

That’s when 720 called in an confirmed he had a 12 man element entering the east side of the Mandalay Bay.

[End Audio]

It’s important to note that their may be a total media blackout and that other hotels may have been targeted.

Keep in mind, the New York Times failed to report the hard details in the conglomerate piece titled “Chaos at a Concert and a Frantic Search at Mandalay Bay.”

We are told many things and expected to believe a conclusion.
I look forward to an autosphy report.

-We are shown a dead body and asked to believe it is the shooter.
>Really, how long had the body been dead?

-Accountant with no interest in guns suddenly decides to buy 40 guns and shoot up a concert.
>This guy has nowhere near 10,000 hours of practice, and yet he is a natural with guns? I read one article he had been compted a practice round of skeet.

Here’s my two cents.
Guy is a middle man for illegal guns or drugs. He has two airplanes to support movement of product. He has multiple houses to ply his trade and store stuff. He has all kinds of strangers coming to his house, parting at night, cause they are playing poker, doncha know.
He launders his cash through casino’s and real estate.

He is an accountant who once worked for the IRS. He manages the financial end of deals, and receives a percentage for his time and silence. He wires money to his personal offshore bank accounts.

His last deal went sideways. Plan A fizzeled, plan b invoked to provide a cover for escape. He was killed in the days leading up to the deal and left behind, or killed that day so Law Enforcement would find the perp

Visualizing the geometry may help (distances suggested are 1/30 the reported shooter’s distance and the venue’s dimensions, so the angles will be the same):

Imagine sitting on top of a city bus (or a tour bus with an open top) in a parking lot, 10 feet in the air.
Now imagine you are looking down at a single parking spot, four or five spots over from where the bus is.
Your goal is to shoot that parking spot or within two feet of that parking spot.

The target area for this shooter looked similar to the target area you are visualizing. Even standing on the ground in a parking lot, a spot four to five spaces over is a big area. Looking down from 10 feet up, it would be hard to miss.

You don’t need aimed shots, not with 22,000 people in that venue. All you need is to know which way the weapon pulls on full auto. Pull the trigger to start in one corner, let the recoil sweep it to the other corner, and then release the trigger. Precision shooting with aimed shots (good weapon, great optics, and that over-watch position) would have killed a lot more people in the 5 minutes he was shooting for effect - we’re lucky he chose a full-auto imitation instead of real sniper shots! Instead of aimed shots, he tried a faster but far less accurate “spray and pray”, so he only got about 58 fatal hits.

There were places to hide, but there were also people out in the open, moving slowly in a straight line or not moving at all because they were behind the crowd. 22,000 people don’t “scatter” in an area that small, nor can many of them take cover. He always had targets. There could certainly be more to the story, but there is no reason one person with moderate rifle experience could not have done this.

Perhaps he practiced with his bump stocks, adjusted them, and tuned them to work more smoothly.

During that chaos would have been a good time to knock over one of those casinos.

Yes. I’m sure the chief of the LVPD gets a warning from someone right before his daily press conferences as to what he can and what he cannot say.

Disagree. The shots were not aimed, as you can hear from the rate of fire. The number of dead was low because historically medical care was minimal in combat, but those in Vegas who were not killed immediately got excellent treatment in a reasonable amount of time. I would guess he zeroed his scopes in the desert, then practiced bumpfire until he got the stocks adjusted and smooth, but that he didn’t actually aim for individual targets.

Look at the shape of the building and the difference between how the sound from each would travel. From one window, the sound is basically magnified by the shape of the building and from the other the sound is spread over a much wider area with regard to the place where most of the sound was recorded.

Shots fired from the two windows are bound to sound quite a bit different when heard from down near the target area. From the window "inside" the shape of the building there may be echos depending on how far from the shots you are when you record the sound.

I agree, I haven't heard simultaneous gunfire although I can tell enough difference in the firing sounds to figure one weapon he used was a .308 and the other a 5.56mm. Maybe he used the .308 at one window and the 5.56 at the other, something like that, but there seems to be a difference in the ROF between a couple of bursts as well. Maybe different bump fire attachments or something like that.

The fact that security guards were at his door after twelve minutes, and that includes having gone to the 31st floor first then finding out that the shooting was one floor above them, shows that whatever the fire sounded like outside the building the security people inside knew there was a single point of origin within the building pretty quick.

A shooter in another building or somewhere closer the target area? Hard to say at this point but I haven't seen any evidence from anywhere other than inside the hotel. No crowds pointing elsewhere, no empty cases found somewhere else, etc., only witnesses who could easily have heard an echo or taken the difference in the sound of one type of weapon from another as being two different shooters in different places.

The NVPD seems to be doing a very careful job although the FBI sticking their mitts in doesn't bode well for the NVPD doing a careful investigation as opposed to rushing straight to the "preferred" conclusion.

Once there was no more firing, it makes sense that they'd take their time going in since with cameras present there was a chance the guy had explosives he could trigger, set booby traps, etc. They also weren't sure how many people were in the room although the hotel would have let them know there was only on person listed as the current occupant.

The NVPD is playing things close to the chest for good reason given the fact that there are hundreds of witnesses to interview and an orgy of evidence that they're working their way through.

Whether or not there was ever a second shooter in the room or not will show up on camera recordings the hotel has but I'm sure they'd want to run down leads without six hundred people following them around spewing theories about McDonald's being involved in a conspiracy with the shooter every time one of the investigators stops to eat a burger.

I agree with you and think there are as many people (both those on the multiple shooter end of the spectrum and on the single nut end of the spectrum) more concerned with their theory being correct than they are with the facts.

Sheriff said the first firing (sounds like 100 rounds to me) were 308 aiming at the fuel tank. They found bullets there had penetrated the outer lawyer of the tank.

I shoot a lot, but after 100 rounds of full-auto .308, I would not want to shoot anything bigger than a .223. Note: I could shoot .223 all day without even a bruise.

Good questions. There are a lot of pieces to put together. I’m not going to let it drive me crazy.

There are plenty of bump-stock videos on YouTube. I dare you to find one with sustained, steady bursts like the ones on the audio from Las Vegas.

You make some good points and ask good questions. We’ll probably never know the whole story. We’ll see. There are certainly a lot of pieces to put together.

Something went very wrong and the guy is dead.

You’re welcome. I always enjoy a fact-based discussion regarding firearms, ballistics, tactics, etc. - as opposed to the emotion-driven screeds of uninformed blissninnies (A.K.A. liberals) or the rantings of those who wish to control us (A.K.A. Leftists or Communists).

“Sheriff said the first firing (sounds like 100 rounds to me) were 308 aiming at the fuel tank. They found bullets there had penetrated the outer lawyer of the tank.”

It’d be interesting to find out if he used AP or API rounds or not. Because if he had used them, particularly API rounds, those tanks might well have blown. Both types are available...they are certainly more expensive than normal bullets, and sometimes you just get them as loose bullets and need to reload some cases, but this could be done without too much trouble or expense.

WRT the vehicle, it is a very good thing that there weren’t one or more placed at strategic places and loaded with Tannerite (and full tanks of gas). You could have literally hundreds of pounds of Tannerite in the back seat or trunk of a standard sedan, and that’d produce a MASSIVE explosion that would be initiated by mere high-velocity contact with a bullet (not to mention the effect of 15-20 gallons of gasoline).

Deaths could have been in the thousands if this was carried out well, team or not (but especially with a team).

FYI, Tannerite can be purchased or made...the formula is not hard to obtain at all (though I won’t help anyone do that). Note that the materials are not all that hard to obtain or process, either. I think that this is part of the reason why we haven’t had full disclosure of all of the facts learned SO FAR, and why I think that we will NEVER get all of the facts known - it’ll give too many ideas to stupid, but evil, people.

quote-Police can get confuse as easily as anyone else.
There

That’s true.

The police apparently released some body cam footage with a date stamp of 10/2 (not 10/1, the night of the attack) at a time stamp after 05:00 AM..

so instead of 10/1 and the correct time of the attack, the body cam showed 10/2 as the date- and after 5:00 AM as the time.

That’s, what, about 7 hours after the attack?

The police may add to the public’s confusion with releases like that.

“I understood that only a hundred or so of the injured suffered gunshot wounds.”

This is NOT a criticism but did you ever think that we would see the day when the phrase “only a hundred or so” would be used in a statement like that.

The country is in deep trouble.

What you say is entirely plausible.

I worked as a CPA doing taxes for quite a while (though not for the gov’t in any capacity), and for the last 15 years as an attorney. Setting up a string of entities to launder money - so long as it was all done domestically - wouldn’t be hard at all, and could easily stay under the fed.gov’s radar if done in a methodical and careful way. All that is needed for your scenarios to be plausible is a willingness to engage in the gun or drug business...and if the guy is a bit of a Walter Mitty (or if he had fantasies of accomplishing things that his father, the bank-robber, never did), then that is also plausible.

Large parts of this may someday become public - because too many people understand that he fits NOT ONE SINGLE PROFILE FOR A MASS MURDERER. But not all of the details will be released, so as to not provide a roadmap to others.

I am not sure what you are disagreeing with. My overall observation, which you appear to agree with, was that he probably had to have struck a lot of people in order to kill 58 of them. As has been noted, it was a large, densely packed crowd.
