Three jurors from the George Zimmerman trial are going on national television to defend their controversial verdict one that sparked protests across the country and legal analysts say they could perform a public service.
People dont understand you have to follow the law, juror Madelin Rivera said in an interview. They give directions to the jury, and you follow that.
Rivera (known as juror B-29 during the trial), Amy Tronolone (D-40) and Christine Barry (B-51) appear in The Jury Speaks: George Zimmerman at 9 p.m. Monday on Oxygen. The series also talks to jurors in the trials of Michael Jackson, O.J. Simpson and Robert Durst.
The Zimmerman jurors names were made public in April 2014, but the Orlando Sentinel typically does not identify jury members unless they have agreed to be interviewed.
A Seminole County jury in 2013 acquitted Neighborhood Watch volunteer Zimmerman of murder in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed, black 17-year-old. The not-guility verdict in Sanford helped spur the Black Lives Matter movement.
The issue for jurors came down to self-defense.....

Fact: With 12% of the population, blacks commit about 50% of the murders in America. (Justice Dept. data, well hidden during Obama, but now more in the open)
Any citizen, is well advised to protect him/herself well, when around them.
It is the fault of black culture, and people, nobody else.

>> “The not-guilty verdict in Sanford helped spur the Black Lives Matter movement.” <<
A flat out lie!
George Soros created the Black Lives Matter movement.
.
.
>> “The DA over charged in this case and did not give a compromise charge of manslaughter. I do believe that Zimmerman did exacerbate the situation and a charge of manslaughter or negligent homicide could have been argued for.” <<
That is an absolute crock of manure!
.
I said could have been argued for, that doesn’t mean the charge was justifiable. There are many situations where a hotheaded person gets killed because of their actions. The issue is when is a good Samaritan going to far. People have died being restrained as a result of shoplifting. The person had a right to restrain the individual but could the situation have been better solved? That is merely the point I was trying to make. As I side Martin would have gotten himself killed sooner or later because of his behavior.
Bob 34 wrote Obama the race baiter sparked the protests- the verdict wasnt controversial at all- it was a clear cut case of self defense- Trayvon was trying to murder george by bashing his skull against concrete- George had EVERY RIGHT to defend himself with deadly force at that point- period.
The result of Obama’s use of the Bully Pulpit led to at least 20 assaults which many ended in death. Hearing it seemed to have encouraged black gangs who have nationwide membership like the Crypts claim to defend black honor by attacking innocent non blacks in retaliation for the “cold blooded killing of Trayvon”. One such example was the murder of Australian student Christopher Lane from Melbourne here on a scholarship to a Duncan Oklahoma college. Shot and killed from their vehicle while exercising on a Duncan street by two Crypts.
While there was at least a score (20) of such racial attacks they were ignored or minimized by the media. While many perpetrators actually attributed their reasoning “for Trayvon” the media reported their activity as “black youths with nothing better to do” As they did in the Lane killing.

that’s blatantly untrue. nice try though. you should take the time to gather facts before speaking.
because it had been over a year since I even thought of this case I went and looked up on line what happened and I was right. Zimmerman called the police reporting suspicious activities as part of the neighborhood watch. the operator told him to stay in his car. Zimmerman then after reporting the suspicious person hung up. two minutes later the police received a 911 call of shots being fired.... I think we can agree that Treyvon was a punk and up to no good. I think we can agree that it is also Trayvon fault he got shot and killed. I think we can agree that Zimmerman had every right to shoot Treyvon. the place I disagree with you is that Zimmerman did not make the best decision when he left the car. Zimmerman helped to create the situation where he was forced to defend himself and shoot Trayvon.
Suggestion look at the official police reports... A lot of times we think we know but because of the passage of time and the misinformation put out we choose to believe what fits a narrative that might not be true.
